I am a little late adding this review but saw negative comments and felt compelled to do it.
I went there August of 2014 and had a groupon for highlights, cut, and style. When I arrived I must say I was disappointed at the esthetics of the salon… to say the least but I stayed.
I am glad I did because Maria did an awesome job! I had highlights done only one other time in my life and that was a bust! I waited over ten years to try them again because it was done so poorly. Anyways, Maria listened to my needs and talked about both how I wanted it to look like and what I DID NOT WANT it to look like.
I seriously came out with a big grin in my face and overjoyed by how much I liked my highlights! Highly recommend.
I will add that Maria is what I would call «old school» so don’t be taken back by that because it does not do her skills justice… just saying.
I did recommend this place to my sister and she did just informed me that there line is disconnected… not sure what’s going on with that.

I bought the Groupon because of other people reviews… and feel obligated to share my experience.
When I arrived and saw the place, I wasn’t sure if the address was correct. It was so disgusting I didn’t know if I should walk in or just run away. The place was EMPTY. Nobody was there except one woman sitting behind the desk. She looked like she didn’t shower for a week, and her hair was kind of… gross. Her clothes were stained and dirty. I considered running away again. I stayed-​told her to just do the highlights, no haircut (I was to scare to let her touch my hair). While she was doing the color, I listened to her stories about her family, and life on buzz (!!!). I guess, she tried to be nice. And I’m sure, there’s an audience for that kind of trash stories too. I was thinking– maybe it’s not too late, maybe I can still run away. She also cut the ends of my hair (that quite shorten the hair; just the ends?).
The styling done at the end was just brushing my hair with flat brush while blow-​drying!
The next day I noticed a lot of green hint in my hair color. After few weeks it washed out, and I don’t see any highlights at all.
The bathroom? Bathrooms at the gas stations in the middle of nowhere that haven’t been remodeled for 70 years look better.
And they call it A STUDIO? At its best its third world country barber shop.
I wish I run away. Never again.

First time at studio 23 was kinda worried about going to a new place but I Love my hair. So I found my new Togo salon. The fastest n beautiful work done in a little over an hour by Maria. Used a groupon but will pay full price next time. This Salon is far from where I live but worth it.

Maria is seriously the best! She is great at what she does and will never disappoint her clients! I’ve been coming to her for years and have never had a bad experience. She is hilarious and will keep you entertained while your color sets!

I bought a Groupon for cut, highlights and style. Maria was beyond great at doing my hair and being friendly. I can definitely say i have found a salon I will stick with. Loved it

I got my hair cut here, and was not impressed. The stylist told me that her husband had gotten a vasectomy. I didn’t need to know that! The cut was okay, but nothing great. I haven’t gone back to this place.

What a great place. Maria is absolutely superb and full of personality and does a fabulous job cutting hair.
I purchased a groupon for a 25 dollar haircut (originally 35) and Maria was able to see me after the groupon expired and still honored it. She’s not a stylist who butchers hair and she listens to what you want. Sure. she has a creative edge and will input what she thinks may look nice, but for what I asked for she listened attentively and gave me exactly what I wanted.
I will be going back here again. GREAT PLACE.

Walked into here on a whim thanks to Groupon. The outside isn’t much to look at and I was having a bad day so I considered not going. Glad I did! Greeted right when I came in the door with a friendly face and told, «I’ll be with you in a few, just finishing up here.» So many places fail to acknowledge people. Kelly was my stylist and she did wonderful. I was there for a cut, style and blow dry. I didn’t know the kind of cut I wanted and Kelly decided on one that would go well with my face shape. I don’t normally conversate with stylists but we were bantering the whole time. My hair turned our great and I am definitely happy. I will surely return for another hair styling completed by Kelly!

I heart this place! I actually have not had a same hair dresser before I came here. I feel that Maria has tried to understand my style and hair from the first time. I usually let the hair stylist create whatever they thought would fit my style… and I believe this woman did the job! I will keep going back to her for a long long time.

I have been a client of Maria’s for a very long time! She is an amazing colorist and is really creative with up-​dos. I have been a bridesmaid 17 times and she has come up with different looks each time! My hair is always the look that withstands at the end of the wedding. I am blonde and she does really great highlights that I am always complimented on. Prices are very reasonable and the salon is welcoming.
