Big portion of food! They are better then TBK there food taste good the place is nice and clean. Try out the stake dinner it can feed up to 3 people!

If you want to be mocked, eat here.
The staff here mocked my daughter, who is beautiful, calling her a horse in Spanish. They laughed, not knowing my daughter is fluent in Spanish. How rude is this! I didn’t know about their racism and rudeness until I got home. If they mocked my daughter, they have been mocking people for a long time. The food was not good, but who cares about food when you discover people who are working in an establishment can be so crude. I left a big tip for the waitress, the same one who mocked my daughter. I hope her family and the family of the other staff read this review and will ask them why they would mock a young woman who has only done good things in the world.

Horrible tacos and tortas. The rice and beans taste like they’ve been reheated over and over and over again in the microwave. I live really close by and I have to travel farther for a good Spanish meal when I’m lazy to cook. Not even drunk will I go here.

We order from here all the time. No their food is not fancy or the best you’ve ever had, but We’ve probably ordered 50 times for delivery or carry out and never once have received the wrong order or bad food.
We’ve tried other places in the area when these guys are closed and none of them are even half as good.
They also have fast and reasonably priced delivery.
My one complaint, they don’t have piña jarritos :(

This place is awesome. I get tacos here all the time. (steak is my favoite, But I have ordered chicken, chorizo, seasoned pork as well multiple times). I get quesadillas with meat often. I love their burritos. Cans of soda and quick courteous delivery. I have also ordered carryout both in store and called in. Usually give you enough red and green sauce. If you feel like a Horchata it can really hit the spot with this meal. I think its the best mexican food in the neighborhood. Good rice too!

4 Hermanos is a small neighborhood place that delivers. I’ve ordered there several times and they haven’t disappointed yet. I really like there selection of salsas and fresh food. My wife really enjoys their vegetarian options and portion size. The delivery was a bit slow but I know they can get busy often. I really enjoyed their sopes and tacos. Whatever you’re craving «carne asada, al pastor, chorizo, etc… they have it and it’s delicious.

This is a great little neighborhood place. Nothing fancy, but good Mexican food for a good value. The service is friendly and attentive — go back just a few times and they recognize who you are and what you like to order. The salsas are delicious. Pro tip: Can’t figure out what you want? Mix it up every visit with the special of the day. It’s all good, and you’ll get to sample the best of their best. Avoid the American food, as it’s so-​so. Then again, why go to a Mexican restaurant for American food??? Décor is dated, but to me it’s really part of this place’s charm.

Lunch time server is the best. She looks pretty young but, a awesome server. The night server is a little special. She’s a little bit slower and less attentive. The restroom is in the back behind the kitchen.

They have awesome daily specials. I ordered on a Thursday which was 2 enchiladas and a taco with rice and beans for $ 5.95. Awesome price, friendly staff, and best meat in the neighborhood! I will be returning because they also serve breakfast.

My wife and I love this place. We have been going there since they opened.
It is outdated, although the ambiance is still enjoyable and the staff and chefs are just wonderful.
Good food and decent prices, with a clean restaurant.

Never again. I was craving a burrito suizo hardcore last night, and came across 4 Hermanos as we don’t have many Mexican places that deliver where we live. Ordered delivery through Grubhub and once it arrived we immediately regretted our decision. It was the worst Mexican food we have ever had. I’m surprised we didn’t get sick… Never again…

Well I am a BIG fan of the chesse burger and frys I know a mexican restraint but its that old dinner feel, I have tried some of there spanish specials and they where good and at reasonable price.

Its one of the only Mexican restaurants in the area. the service is very fast but the food is just ok. Ive been to many Mexican Restaurants in Chicago and this isnt the worst but pretty close to it. the place is dirty and small. avoid it and take a drive a bit further for a better experience

Hands down the best Al Pastor Gorditas in the north side. Their Horchata is just as amazing. The service is great; friendly, fast and efficient. Whether you are dinning in or take out the food will be delicious!
There have been a handful of new businesses that keep coming and going around the area, but this place is still going strong. This place is DELICIOSO!!!

This is a family run, no frills, but cozy little place and there are good cheap eats here. Also BYOB. It’s the sort of place where you go right by the cooking station on the way to the little restroom at the back. Good food here though and a homey feel. Wife and I had a two taco lunch, and a steak torta ($ 5.99) and lengua torta ($ 6.25). There were a lot of takeout orders also. Will be back one day and maybe snack at the bar, and may also try the son’s Hermanos Too location on Touhy one day.
