Even though they are under going renovations the place was clean. Employee’s were pleasant. Food items, candy, popcorn, nachos, pop are affordable. I came here why visiting friends I recommend this theatre to all Southside residents. Can’t wait till the remodeling is finished.

I give this place a half star .
A few weeks ago I made the huge mistake of going to see a Movie at 87^th & Dan Ryan. Don’t ask why. I couldn’t believe how horrible that place is. They didn’t even have the air condition on, it smelled like dirty dread locks, Hennessy and poor life choices in that theater. Then the crowd, man I won’t even get on them, but the ppl I encountered .smh. It’s sad that you have to go either downtown or in the burbs to catch a movie. I try not to be that black person who gets a Degree and thinks he is too good for stuff, but last night I was too good for that place. Never again. I blame myself, I knew better.

I went there this past weekend and it IS NOT a movie grill. Apparently they are advertising this establishment as a movie grill which in fact is it not. Once we caught a cab from across town to this location we found out it is in the process of being converted into a Movie Grill. I was livid, I had not ate all day and the movie started at 1:20pm which mean I didn’t eat until around 3:30pm – ugh! Until Fall 2015 or whenever the renovations are complete I would advise against visiting this establishment, it is old!

Ghetto theatre. Don’t be surprised if someone talks through the entire movie and the movie staff does nothing about it. Terrible rude service. The theatre is most often dirty
