I came here last summer and I bought 1 foot long sandwich for 5 dollars. My experience on the day I walked in as a patron gave me a bitter taste. Every time I walk by the subway, it just reminds me of how bad my sandwich was– not enough vegetable or meat. Not worth it for a second trip. I give three stars because i am nice and I try to not give two stars or below, but if I must, I will. For the quality I received, three stars I gave is considered generous.

I go here often. Mainly after working out at Edgewater fitness. I have no complaints. Service is always great, and food fresh. Other than Starbucks, its a great place to sit and relax. Maybe you can pickup on Starbucks wifi ;)

Every once in a while, my boss likes to walk around her office barefoot. She’s not really barefoot, she has hosiery. It’s not because she likes to feel the carpeting. It’s because her Jimmy Choo’s and Manolo’s squeeze her piggies into uncomfortable positions. Women’s shoes do horrible things to feet. So, imagine my surprise when I saw the Subway employee walking around the restaurant in bare feet. I wouldn’t guess he’s the Jimmy Choo-wearing kind of guy. Dude: They’re called shoes. Wear some. Other than that, you were really friendly and made a great 6-inch and a Flatizza. I hope there were more ingredients on my sandwich than stuck to the bottoms of your feet.

It is no secret that Subway is my favorite American restaurant. I can heartily recommend one of the locations down the street, on Clark or on Broadway. This restaurant has earned my ire and I look forward to telling everyone to avoid it. I’m not sure what is going on. The young woman making sandwiches is extremely difficult to understand. What do I mean? She is inaudible, and when she speaks up, she was unintelligible. I don’t know what the words she says mean, they don’t go together in any way I can figure out. It’s… it’s crazy. Unsurprisingly, the food turns out a nasty old mess, and there is no way to rectify the sandwiches, because no one can(will?) communicate. The smirking teenage beatoff manning the register making comments about people’s appearances really seals it. Never have I considered dumping a full cup of Coke Zero on a stranger.

The guy from India was rude, did not allow the other worker to finish my sandwich. Took the sandwich did not allow me to finish telling him what I wanted on my sandwich. Only two other ppl was in the place. I had no problem with how the other staff was handling my sandwich. So his attitude was totally unnecessary!!!

Not much to review, but this is a standard Subway, a new chain in the Edgewater hood. Mostly friendly, sometimes have their kid(s) at work, but not a big deal. Aways in and out, no lines really. Police is always visiting this place after 7 pm or so to keep it safe.

Very nice employees. It wasn’t 7am yet but the lady let me in because it was cold outside.

Would not recommend, the workers are rude, they don’t value the advertised promotions offered at all other locations, and the soup and veggies were spoiled on numerous occasions. I would pass on this location and go to locations that will at least serve you fresh food and give you more for your buck by valuing coupons and advertisements, this place is CHEAP.

It’s a subway what is there to say — the thing about subway is that it smells better than it taste — like some coffee shops. Staff is nice — but there are always a few a@@holes outside. Asking me for my number or for some change. They forget that I live in the neighboorhood. I like the cookies better than the sandwiches by far

What a breath of fresh air. This Subway is clean, friendly, and inviting. This is my new subway. Way, way, way superior to its contemporaries in the neighborhood. Other subways take note of how they take care of their place and their customers.

The fact that there is now a subway here gets the place 2 stars. I can walk down the block and get myself a decent sandwich now! The only thing is that the service is obnoxious here. Most times I go in there they ask me what my order is right when I walk up to the counter, even if they are working on another person’s sandwich. So when they are done with said person’s sandwich, they ask me again. And a third time what sort of bread I want. I hate having to repeat myself. I don’t mind waiting 30 seconds for you to finish making another sandwich if it means you can retain what I tell you and I don’t have to repeat my order over and over again! But at least they are nice and it’s a well-stocked Subway. What else do you expect?
