As a former repeat customer here where I have been going to this location for now 4 years, almost day in day out regardless of weather, experiencing a change in management once each year, I will no longer common this location till it is under new management! It wasn’t one specific thing that had broke the back of this customer as it was a series of events in concerns with the recent management. — Even though they’re using the same customer loyalty card, they now refused to honor it in the same fashion as the previous management where it applied to salads even with all the stamps coming from salads! — Changing in the process of making the salad where the cheese comes in last so that there is a potential chance that the customer may forget to order cheese and save the owners some money. — Repeated skimping on the meats which is against subway franchise recipes for both subs AND salads! — I had often forgiven them for not listening to the way I ordered my salad but I can only forgive so much! — Finally, the one that broke the camel’s back, «If you want extra lettuce, he will have to charge you.» Where the hell does that say on the menu? Having worked at a subway though at a different franchise, I had said it once and only once about charging for extra lettuce! I never did say that simply due to the fact that lettuce is the cheapest ingredient of the entire board. But now, having been on the receiving end of that question, I now know how terrible that demand is. After experiencing all this, I can now see why the line and number of the usual customers that would common with me has dwindled to the point where it was nowhere near like how it was before this management. The change in management has cashed in on the repeat customers and now has lost their trust as well. When there is new management, I will revisit this rating and update it.

This Subway is great! They’re weirdly efficient… like it doesn’t appear that they will be, but then you end up with a beautiful delicious sandwich. They’re always handing out coupons in the mornings… which definitely gets me in there for lunch. They’re friendly. They’re efficient. They make sandwiches. Maybe my expectations are too low.

One of my co-workers will walk an additional 2 blocks to go to a different Subway simply to avoid this one.

I’m not a fan of Subway just for the fact that their advertising has been historically hateful while targeting McDonald’s. But I can’t blame the ills of this sandwich shop on one asshole spokesperson and one grotesque PR campaign. There’s plenty of other ills of this shop that can be blamed on the sandwich shop itself. Frankly, the only things this place has going for it are the fact that the staff are generally courteous/helpful and their indoor eating area isn’t bad. On the downside, we frequent this location usually between 1:30pm and 2:30pm when it’s pretty much empty. Strangely, it’s also the time when they seem to have run out of ingredients. 30% of the time, one of us has to hear«we don’t have any more» followed by either a bread type, meat or cheese selection, or even a condiment/topping. We’re usually here for their daily $ 2.50 specials, but once they created the $ 5 footlong, we were here more often so my co-worker could get the cheap option and I could spring for a footlong without feeling like I’ve wasted my money or not gotten a value deal. Recently, though, they’ve changed the general $ 5 footlong deal to select items, which is disappointing. The place looks clean behind the counter, but usually several of the tables inside haven’t been cleaned(or cleaned properly). We’re also subjected to overhear a lot of loud conversation between bored employees, most of which are on a break since it’s so empty. The last complaint with this place? They play the radio station that seems to be the first one to switch to all-Christmas-music in mid-November. It drives the employees insane and it drives the customers insane. We understand that Christmas is awesome in a capitalist society, but to torture employees for hours on end is a no-no. I’ve seen their faces and they look ready to snap when a song comes on and you can tell it’s the fifth time they’ve heard it that day and the 60th time that week and they long to stick their heads in the baking oven and be done with it. Other than that, the place is fine and gets 3 stars in my book.
