Sandwiches are as good as any other Subway restaurant, but the service isn’t as friendly as other Subways I’ve been to. Maybe because it’s in the middle of the loop and it fills up with hungry Harold Washington students who sometimes stay long after they’re finished eating and hog the tables.

Came for a quick lunch today. Ordered the Monday $ 5 special and when I asked for extra spinach, the lady said she already put extra spinach and more would incur a charge. There were literally 6 spinach leaves on my sandwich. So anyway I proceeded with the rest of my veggies. I sat down to eat and noticed all of the veggies on my sandwich were frozen. At the line I passed up on the onions because they were translucent but I did not notice all the others were still frozen, including my extra charge avocado. The only plus to this trip is I may burn more calories having to thaw the veggies in my digestive tract. Lol. Come on subway.

Overall a pretty good Subway. The workers are fast and efficient and my sandwiches have always been made well. I’ve watched them training new employees and they’re definitely very particular in making sure new employees are reminded of even the smallest details when it comes to food handling and prep.
I’ve always gotten in and out in a very acceptable time with good service.
The only downside would be the size, it’s a pretty small place so getting in line can be a little difficult and you may or may not be able to eat there so have a backup place to take your sandwich.

I wouldn’t ordinarily rate a Subway. However, this Subway is exceptional. All compartments were neat and in order with their designated items in the appropriate containers. The customer service personnel was polite and prompt

It’s not in a very nice looking location, even on the inside, and the people working here are not the nicest, but I came here too many times to count when i worked near here and could always rely on getting a good sandwich.
