Last week I visited this sunglass hut and met Amy. I tried on several pair of Ray Ban sunglasses to wear for the season. Amy, the sales rep assisted me and others during a very busy time at the store. As I tried on glasses, both Amy and my wife assisted with the yays and nays. I found two pair I really liked that fit and Amy was kind enough to write the model numbers down for me. I visited the store this morning, Amy was there, remembered me from my first visit, pulled the exact two pairs I chose the week prior and I bought one pair. This store has a fine and wide selection of glasses. I have difficultly finding glasses cause I gotta big noggin. Amy is superb as a sales representative and my next pair will be bought from this store. When an associate remembers customers like Amy did me, its a pleasure to spend my money! Kudos to sunglass hut for hiring professionals like Amy!!! Reviewers, go to this store in Chicago. It’s a treat!!!

I had a return and the associate, Doranda, asked me why. I replied«it was an mpulse buy». She responded«so what’s wrong with them?». I explained myself again and she gave me attitude and insisted on asking me the question repeatedly. Then would not make eye contact with me and the environment was extremely hostile. This was the most awkward customer service I have experienced. I will not be a returning customer at SG and definitely not this location. I will buy my Ray Bans from another sunglasses retailer.

I first went to sunglass hut where I bought my sunglasses to fix the pin keeping the lens to the temples — pretty generic but sunglass guy said I would have to find and call the Gucci manufacturer to fix and when I get the piece, then maybe they can fix it. Wow. Without looking, I stumbled upon See a couple floors up, asking without expectation if they could help. NOTONLY did they fix my sunglasses on the spot, they did it for free with a polish and a notice that they will always provide free repair even when the glasses aren’t theirs. I’m never going back to sunglass guy again– See, you’ve got me coming back for more!
