Sweet World Pastry

Found this hidden treasure because I was in the need for a birthday cake on the fly. What a delicious surprise. Had the tiramisu cake and it was delicious. Very pleased. Will be back again.

What a gem. I was referred here by Ideal Bakery for a 1^st Communion cake. Beautifully decorated and tasty plus the customer service was great. Will be my go to for party cakes. Costco cakes just cannot do an event justice like a true bakery confection.

I found this gem on a Saturday afternoon driving down Milwaukee, and stopped in just minutes before closing time.
As I looked around and approached the counter, a very friendly young lady started speaking to me in what I am guessing was Polish. I’m a dark-​haired, blue-​eyed pasty girl, so I get it, but I replied with «Oh, no ma’am… I’m sorry but I didn’t get any of that». She smiled and told me that they were closing but she’d be happy to put something together for me.
I chose a few mixed pastries. It’s a good thing they were so pretty that I decided to photograph them when I got back to my hotel room before I started eating them because they did not last long after the first bite.
The brownie and dipped cookies were really, really good. The other pastry, an oatmeal flavoured meringue topped with a light chocolate cream and dipped in ganache, was simply amazing. I love sweets and this was definitely the best sweet I’ve ever eaten in this country and probably in my top 5 all-​time.
