The burgers and tacos here continue to impress for both value, quality, and flavor. We’ve enjoyed different versions of full size and mini burgers, and the tacos, all great. Tonight added a blackboard special to my order, steak quesedillla with guacamole side. Very flavorful steak. very low prices and high quality keeps us coming back. Added fresh donuts with choco-rasp sauce for dessert. Perfect.

Was recommended by a patient of ours while taking his blood at 4am and just started talking about Unilocal so saw reviews and pictures and well DELICIOUS, I love it. I’m not a big burger fan but the minis are perfect! Steak, shrimp, duck taco are all good the truffle fries, lawwrdd I mean I loved them! My guy goes for the sweet potatoe ones, delish as well! Service is great too. Just wish there’s was more then Coke/pop products maybe some sweet tea! Otherwise fav new spot!

The shrimp taco is a must!!! All their aioli sauces that come with burgers and tacos are full of flavor. Their burgers are super delicious and you can get them in mini size with a side of fries. Their delicious guacamole is made from scratch. The OJ is freshly squeezed at $ 3.50 a 16oz glass is a steal. Our tab for 3 tacos, guacamole, steak and eggs and mini burgers with fries $ 40.00!!! Come try! Your belly will be happy!

I was presently surprised by this restaurant. The food was absolutely AMAZING. Everything was excellent. Try the shrimp tacos, they were my favorite. The fish taco and steak taco were also fantastic. The classic burger was also really good. The service was excellent and very attentive. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the near future!!!

T&B Grill has my admiration, they are trying creative things and doing them well. The service was friendly and fast, the hostess was super nice and personable. Tacos were delicious, we tried the duck and steak/chorizo mix, salsa verde was very tasty as well. Presentation was nice, the tacos came out on a wooden cutting board. House made green tortillas with cilantro and jalapeño were unique. I’d definitely return to try the daily specials and a burger. The menu seemed very ambitious with a good variety. Interesting concept, I’d encourage anyone to try them out. Glad they’re in the neighborhood.

Dam I just got out of the hospital yesterday and after eating hospital food for 2 days I’m a cravin sum good vittles. I saw T & B about 3 weeks ago. The food looks remarkable and I have been dying to get here and try their food. Both their tacos and burgers look like works of art, but I chose the tacos this time. I love tacos and if you see what this place has I’m sure you will come here. It’s very nice little restaurant on the corner of Lawerence Ave & Lawndale tastefully decorated. The presentation of every different taco is remarkable and a work of art every taco tastes & looks completely different. They were all delicious a perfect blend of protein, seasoning and spice on each taco. I ordered 5 tacos all of them on homemade cilantro and jalapeño tortillas. * Spicy Shrimp — Spicy shrimp, habanero, lime, aioli, garlic, cilantro & lime slaw * Fish Taco — ancho chili peppers, black sesame seeds, pickled red cabbage, pico de gallo, jalapeño & lime aioli * Chipotle Steak Taco — grill hanger steak, guacamole, chipotle adobo, pickle red onions & cabbage * Duck Taco — Duck leg confit w/ancho peppers * Grilled Vegetarian Taco — Free courtesy of Unilocal with a Check in — Black Beans, sweet corn, yellow squash, red onions, zucchini & roasted tomatillo salsa All the tacos were delicious. The burgers also look great. They come in regular size for $ 10& mini’s for $ 4.50. I think I’ll try the mini’s next time

I was excited to see a new taco/burger joint in my hood… me and my hubby finally tried it out and it was really good. We started with the quesadilla appetizer… the server explained to us that everything was fresh which was nice to hear so I knew it would take a little longer to get our food but 25 min for an appetizer was a bit much… only 3 tables in the entire place. I got the t&b taco and shrimp taco, my husband got the fish and steak. We were impressed it was really yummy! For portion size I think they are very reasonably priced and our server was a super friendly girl. My only complaints were how long the food, 25 min for app and 45 for tacos… it was also very smoky in there… I’m giving four stars because over all it was a pretty decent experience and we will for sure go back to try the burgers!

A solid place for burgers, but I was a little underwhelmed. I got the T&B burger with a beef rather than bison patty and substituted sweet potato fries for the side. I wasn’t a huge fan of how the burger came with chili, which overwhelmed the shrimp and avocado flavors; however, the patty itself was generously thick and juicy. The sweet potato fries, while also solidly executed, weren’t anything out of the world. Friendly service and good food – I liked the variety of unique options the menu offered, but I wasn’t as amazed by the food as the reviews seemed to suggest I would be.

The menu options at this place are great! I love how they offered all the burgers on their menu in mini sizes which were $ 4.50 each and comes with delicious fries! The burgers were delicious and so worth the price. I would come back for the burgers alone. The presentation was also very cute! See all the pictures! I did however think the tacos were a little overrated. Although the T&B and shrimp taco were good and the presentation was nice, I wasn’t blown away by the taste. I also did not like the crab Mac and cheese. It tasted bland and the consistency was very watery :( The service here is really great. The waitress was so smile-y I couldn’t stop smiling at her either :) :) :) What a lovely lady! The chefs and owners of this place seem to take very good care of the restaurant. The place was a lot bigger than I expected and very clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those in the area.

This place is fabulous! I had the shrimp taco and a couple of the mini burgers. EVERYTHING was very tasty. My friend had the turkey burger and I thought that was the best of the bunch. Sweet potato and their regular house fries are excellent as well. Friendly service as well. I’ll be going back!

Forgot those frou frou taco joints in Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Albany Park is legit! Just go the extra mile and eat here instead. Freshly made taco wrappers definitely gives it the soft texture that makes a good taco. Add some protein, sauce and slaw and you got yourself a gourmet taco. It is definitely up on the list of best not-so Mexican taco places in the city! Yes, I said it, in the CITY. I ordered a bunch of tacos from Duck Confit, T&B and fish. They were beautifully presented and good portion size. I ate the fish taco and there’s a lot going on, it’s a grilled piece of meat so it’s healthier than the deep fried ones(though I like those too). Also ordered a round of mini T&B sliders. Each mini-burger comes with it’s own side of fries. I tried all three and my favorite were the sweet potato — crunchy on the outside, creamy and sweet inside. Ask for aioli and you have 4 options to choose from at no additional cost. Burger cooked at medium was perfectly medium. Inside sits a piece of shrimp and guac, this tiny burger is incredibly quite filling. Tiramisu with blackberry sauce served on a chilled marble cutting board is excellent as well. At $ 4, can’t go wrong. I forgot to mention we were here on a Sunday and they serve brunch too — a meat and veggie option, chilaquiles, chips and guac. It’s not on the menu, but I think they’re starting a brunch too. Space is great, high ceilings, cool giant mural of the«Bean» and large windows. Good staff and plenty of seating. If this place opened in Wicker, I am certain there would be a line out the door. The only unfortunate thing is the name, T&B Grill. Had I just saw the name alone, I think of those little shops that sell frozen patties, chicken nuggets and fries, quickly fried or griddled in a seedy neighborhood. Nothing wrong with that except T&B uses all fresh ingredients. Definitely coming back here to get my fill of tacos and sweet potato fries. What you wanna go now!!! Let’s go!

First off — the service is amazing and our waitress is so sweet and friendly! super plus! For the food: T&B Taco and Fish Taco — they look amazing but the flavor might be lacking just a little. However, each taco does have a good amount of shrimp/fish — so it’s okay overall T&B burger(mini) with truffle fries — the bison patty is juicy and very flavorful. I enjoyed this a lot more than the tacos. This has shrimp, chorizo and guac on top of the patty which were good additions. Yummy burger! ¬ dry! The mini burger was good but it was $ 5 + $ 1 for the truffle fries — it’s good to try but I wouldn’t come again if I was hungry and not looking to spend a lot of money on tacos and small burgers

I recently ordered a takeout meal from T & B Grill, a fairly new joint on Lawrence that serves«Mexican and American fusion.» The service was pleasant and relatively quick, and the dining area is decorated by a colorful mural of the«Bean» — the landmark Cloud Gate sculpture of Millennium Park. I ordered a «T»(duck taco) and a «B»(turkey burger) to go. The duck taco was tasty but not your average taco coming out of one of the many taquerias that line Lawrence Avenue. This taco comes with duck leg confit and a cup of green salsa, though the meat was flavorful enough without the salsa. The turkey burger was good, with a very thick patty of turkey meat. The toppings included a blob of cooked spinach, which to me did not seem to mesh well with the burger as it seemed to just sit there. The tomato slice and the swiss cheese worked out better(what happened to the onion rings??), and the pretzel bun was satisfying and for the most part withstood the soppiness of the spinach pile. The burger is accompanied by fries, which I upgraded to sweet potato fries for a slight upcharge. The spicy ketchup is good, but the fries were very good and did not need much enhancement. They also offer mini versions of their gourmet burgers, so you might want to mix and match if you want to try several kinds of burgers in one shot.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Such friendly staff — they made me wanna return even before we got the food — and the food wad amazing! Best veggie tacos ever, best fish tacos ever!(Not exaggerating). Also had some truffle fries to start with — mmmmm, what a treat. Best casual eats I’ve had in a while, we will definitely be back — can’t wait to try the weekend brunch items. Oh — and BYOB with a smile! My only suggestion/hope as they settle in would be to expand the menu a bit, especially to add an appetizer section, like some guacamole/chips or nachos or similar. All in all, a great find, tasty, clean, comfortable, friendly — welcome to the neighborhood!

Food was better then expected. I was thinking just regular burgers and tacos but they have a different selection. They have fish tacos, duck taco, etc. Their burgers seem to have a splash of excitement. Food was made with a twist that made it just better! Having something different rather then the same old regular stuff makes it boring. This place was a breathe of fresh air with the different style tacos.

I can’t believe I never tried this fantastic gem on Lawrence Ave. Went here for dinner with a couple of new friends and my fiancé the other night. There are GF options, meatless options, and so much more. I tried a duck taco, a fish taco, and a shrimp taco(the t&b taco). Every one was fantastic. The duck was surprisingly my favorite, followed by the shrimp taco which is delightfully spicy, and the fish taco was great as well and very generous on the fish portion. Everything tasted fresh and bright and well thought-out. The tortillas were so cute and clearly handmade! The service was a little slow because they were surprisingly packed for a Tuesday, but it was noooooo problem. The environment was simple, clean, and cool. The bathrooms were super clean as well which was an awesome surprise. All this and BYOB means that I will definitely be back again and again.

I’m a proud Albany Park resident. I personally have witnessed many establishments, at this very same address, failed to make it through. However, I felt that T & B Grill is here to stay! Their menu is simple, yet it’s done with a creative twist. Yes, the«T» stands for«tacos,» and the«B» stands for«burgers.» I tried their T&B burger. The burger patty is made out of bison, along with shrimps, avocado, and chorizo bits. It was delicious and satisfying. I haven’t seen crispy chorizos on a burger before, but it really added some texture to the burger. Hubby had the veggie burger. I told him about this place that serves vegetarian entrees. He said he would definitely go back for their veggie burger, or their tacos. I saw the adjacent table order the Mac & Cheese, along with a mini burger. Everything I saw coming from the kitchen was a work of art! I really should have visited this place when they first opened. What took me so long to realize that this BYOB corner joint was this awesome? Fortunately, I live one(1) block away from T & B. Often times a paid parking spot on Lawrence Ave. is difficult to find. If you choose to drive, Argyle, two(2) blocks north, has free parking.

Awesome new joint in the neighborhood! First of all, the ambiance is pretty great in there and the service is fantastic. We tries one of each taco, and they were all amazing! I was pleasantly surprised how good even the veggie taco was. Also tried their signature burger(slider size) which was delish. Its if very obvious that they make their own buns and tortillas. And if you check in on Unilocal, you get a free tiramisu!
