Taco Mobil Tabis

I’m so glad this Unilocal page exists. The tacos are well-​portioned, cooked to order, and come with lettuce, onion and cilantro. The al pastor seasoning is really flavorful. This is a great spot for a street food snack after a day at the beach!

They may move around but in the past week they’ve set up off of Wilson next to the track/​soccer fields. They just have your simple, «street tacos» that I’m used to eating as opposed to the gourmet/​fusion/​healthy eats type. Had to try both the steak and the al pastor today. I grew up in LA and lived in Vegas the past 6 ½ years before moving to Chicago. I have only a few favorite places in LA and in Vegas, I only liked one Mexican place the entire time I lived there. After throwing down on both tacos, I must say, these were the best tacos I’ve had in years. I’ve been to a few spots in Pilsen but these were on point. The flavor in the meats were absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop by as you can get them to go too.

Pretty solid taco. The 3 ladies working were really nice. They have Jarritos, a favorite of mine!
