The Cut by Maurice

I get my fade by Maurice and I’m never disappointed, he is always on point. Make sure you tell him what you want and he will master your fade with no issuies. The man is very consistent on how he fades the scalp to perfection.

If you are looking for a cut that’s current and cool Maurice is the place. Coming from NY it’s been hard finding someone in chicago who has understood the different haircuts that’s are not necessarily from chicago until I found Maurice The Cut.

I have been going here for years. Only barber shop I will go to in Chicago. The barber Adeeb remembers my haircut, I just call ahead of time and I sit down and he starts cutting. Best fades ever.

pretty overrated from my experience lol went there in my high school days back when it was cheap and it never turned out the way like how i imagined it which was not good, got made fun of by degenerates @ school. went again 10 yrs later to check out wats diff and the price was jacked up $ 15 for a crappy cut lol asked for a blow out and trim the top and the blow out was crappy half ass work, dude asked me if it was ok as i looked seemed fine but when i got home ahh hell naw lol didnt even trim the top that well i told him to trim several times and i finally gave up lol social ppl tho but small place and some overrated barbers like juan lol

Best fades in chi-town…I take my son there and I as well. The place feels like a real barber shop. I will be back there again and get the cut…

The Cut is a great place for hair cuts. I have been going to my Barber Andy for the past 8 years even before he opened his own shop. I come in sit on the chair and dont say a word and Andy takes care of me. When he asks me for what I want to get done I tell him whatever he thinks looks good. Andy is VERY consistant with his haircuts. There are many times were barbers at time give a good hair cut but then the next time ruin your hair. You know what your getting when Andy is cutting your hair.
Andy is very professional and respectful to your time. He understands that we have other responsibilities and if you call in advance gets you on the chair with a short wait. I recomend Andy for hair cuts.
I get compliments on my hair cuts by my friends and now all my friends go to Andy for their hair cuts!

This place has some of the most talented barbers in Chicago. My only gripes are that a couple of the barbers do not know how to honor an appointment and will quickly «let my boy get his cut real quick,» and take your place instead.

No thugs, good cuts, good prices equals five stars! I’ve been looking for a great barber, there was not one in NC, none in the panhandle, and yet to find one in Boston. I was fortunate though to have been referred to Andy at The Cut. This guy is incredible, uses the clips as well as scissors. This place has a bunch of young barbers, they look like they know what there doing. Always busy. I recommend Andy though, I don’t get fades, but I do get a taper fo hawk.

OMG so I had this one lady, Tammy that use to do my eyebrows ALL the time for so many years at Mario’s and then she left and I was sooo sad because eyebrows are a BIG deal! I had no idea where she had gone so for the last 4 years I been going to this other lady Sara, but she moved a couple miles away and I hate the drive there. So I got word that my long lost eyebrow lady could be found at The Cut AND she was!!! I was so happy to see her after a couple years and you know what? She’s still GREAT!!! I recommend ANYONE who doesn’t know where to go to get there eyebrows threaded to go to The Cut. O yeah the barbers there are pretty good too =)
