There are some great improv places in Chicago– and this is not one of them! Some of the individuals in the troupes were good, but as a whole it was a really awkward, unfunny show. The members of the troupes had no chemistry and seemed to not know the«rules» of improv. They kept yelling over one another and talking over each other– it was just really bad. The audience was entirely comprised of the players’ family and friends. We went because the tickets were cheap($ 5 for students and $ 10 for adults) but it wasn’t worth it. The place is very small with one dingy bathroom. The BYOB atmosphere produced some very drunk audience members drinking 40s and interrupting the show. Who knows– maybe it depends on what night you come and what troupes you see, but our show on a Saturday was awful. Pay more and see a good show!
