My craftastic 4.5 year old daughter went to their drop off craft afternoon on a Friday and had the best time. She loved it and didn’t want to leave. She has asked to go back. I really love the creativity of their programs. I highly recommend!

My 5-year old daughter had a week-long sewing camp over the summer and loved it so much that she wants her birthday party to be at Wishcraft, or even at home with a Wishcraft person facilitating. I’d had given the business 5 stars, but after 2 voicemails and one email that have been unanswered over more than a weeks’ time, I’m disappointed at their responsiveness and incredibly annoyed — especially as they heavily promote birthday parties on their website. UPDATE: I wanted to update my review from a year ago — I’ve continued sending my daughter to Wishcraft and they’ve done a great job at responding in a timely manner to my questions/requests. My daughter very much enjoys their programs.

Just has our daughter’s bday party at Wishcraft and it was great. Kristina and Hannah made it very easy for us(parents). All you have to do is choose the craft, invite the kids and bring the treats. All of the kids — boys & girls — had a great time. They provided individual attention to all of the kids and they each got to leave with something they made.

This is the perfect after-school program for my son. It is a family environment with older kids and younger kids playing and working together. There are different craft and activity materials put out daily, but after a long day at school, my son loves that he gets to pick what to do! He doesn’t have to draw inside the lines, so to speak, he can use his creativity and design and do whatever strikes his imagination. The teachers are also great – engaged in the kid’s activities, not just supervising at a distance. There is also a great backyard space, so there is still plenty of outside, active time. We are so happy to have found Wishcraft.

DON’T SETTLEFORORDINARYAFTERSCHOOLCARE — when you could have FUN-ORDINARY! My daughter started her Wishcraft experience in kindergarten and we have not looked back. We were initially concerned about her transition from live-in nanny to out-of-the-home child care but Wishcraft exceeded our expectations. They are now an extended part of our family. My daughter loves the staff, fun, positive and healthy environment and daily activities. We simply couldn’t trust them more and will be a long-term Crafter School family. Candice and team’s willingness to work around our schedule and lifestyle(text updates, email etc.), half-day pick ups and non-school day camps really are the icing on the cake!!! THANKYOUWISHCRAFT!

My daughter loves going to Wishcraft. She comes home with a variety of crafts that they have done. I like that she gets to try so many different things. Her new love, hand sewing and she is only 6. Magdalena

I really sweated whether or not to send my 9 yo daughter to a week long camp jere. I mean, $ 350 per week? Park district(if you can get it) is cheaper. Way. As it turns out, the camp my daughter went to was the most worthwhile activity I’ve ever paid for her. Yes it costs, but it’s worth every penny. The activities fostered individual creativity while giving the kids some guidelines with which to work in and mentoring. The pacing was great and my child came home reporting an exciting and engaging list of activities. The camp made her existing interest inarts and sewing burn even brighter! Wishcraft struck a chord with my child and it has left a lasting impression and seeded what I suspect to be long term inspiration and creativity.

Terrific place! I took my two year old daughter there for the first time last week and she had a GREAT time. I have to admit that part of my enjoyment was knowing that the place was set up for little-kid art projects, unlike my dining room, and that someone else was going to be cleaning up the mess. The employees were so good with my daughter, too. We’ll definitely be back. They do parties here, too, and we’re going to be looking into that for the future — a fun(and much cheaper and more creative) alternative to a Gymboree party or renting out part of DayFrog.

Wishcraft is a fantastic addition to the north-side! Not only are the offerings for kids craft classes extensive & different from what we’ve tried in the past, but they also offer classes for adults. I just may learn to knit one of these days… but first I’m watching my daughter enjoy her sewing class. My 10-year old has always wanted to learn to sew and this has been the perfect outlet for her. The owner, Candice, is talented, organized & patient(& my daughter says to add«super-fun»), and so far I’m utterly impressed with each project’s end result. I highly recommend Wishcraft for a new & different take on kids craft classes — my daughter is learning a valuable skill that I hope she’ll continue to develop.
