Thanks for the food poisoning :-(The Chef’s Special was definitely «special». Normally a good place to get cheap, crappy sushi when I’m crunched for time and just need something in my stomach, but I’ll never go here again after that epic sickness. The cheap sushi wasn’t worth the expensive ER bill.

This is a great hidden gem for weekday lunch in this part of the Loop. I used to work across the street and would pop over roughly once a week or so for great udon (ask for spicy!) and freshly made sushi. They are quick with the orders and the staff are so friendly. I got to being chatty with them after a while and one day happened to mention that I was splurging on both soup and sushi because it was my birthday, and they comped my lunch! That was totally unexpected and really sweet of them.
Seating is limited (there’s a counter by the windows) as it’s mostly a weekday carry-​out spot.

Not very pleased. I ordered a Spicy Shrimp roll and I got a roll filled with panko crumbs and absolutely no shrimp. $ 6.50 Plus Tax.
I took apart each piece and there was no shrimp in any of them. I will not return.
