Was here for pizza. It was meh. Service was kind of spotty and slow and the pizza was overcooked. It may be a good place to get some drinks and watch a game but the food leaves something to be desired.

Was here on Sat night 6÷15÷2013 and will never go back. The cheap owner would not even put the A/C on for game 2 Stanley Cup Finals. It was a Sauna. It’s 80 outside and even warmer inside. Take your business elsewhere to enjoy the Hawks game

Stopped in after the NW Side Irish Parade and had a blast. Awesome juke box, nachos were good too.

What the hell happened to this place? Dumpy, owner obviously hasn’t sunk a penny into this joint since 1985. Seemed to have lost its character and most of the customers considering we stopped in on a Saturday night and it was a ghost town. Sell the place, give someone else a shot. What a shame.

It’s is a great neighborhood bar. I have been here on many occasions. Met my Friends here for my birthday recently and it was nice being in a place that’s not super loud, so you can talk without screaming, but lively enough that you feel welcome. Service is friendly and good! I like the chili too!

Swung into Tommy’s after the Bears game yesterday to grab a bite to eat on our way home. I have been there before and loved it so… why not. So, we got there and it is a great Chicago hangout and everyone there was great! I was disappointed that they no longer had Polish Sausage on the menu but I got the Cheesy Beef and it was delicious. Could have used some peppers but it was still good. My buddy had the steak sammich and LOVED it. Great place and will come again for sure when back in Chicago. Totally a place I would hang out at if I lived near there.

This is just a good neighborhood joint. No airs or graces just a solid come in drink and dont be an ass or «out you pixies go through the door or out the window. » Plenty of tvs for your sports viewing, decent pub grub, all in a no hassle environment. A really good neighborhood bar.

I’m not really a ‘regular’ in this part of town, but I would hang out at Tommy’s if I was. Good prices, pretty excellent food and never overly-crowded so it’s easy to find seats. Tons of parking outside and lots of TVs for your sports watching pleasure.

Once a year my uncle drags me to his«guys from the block» party somewhere on the«oh god how are we still even in the city» far Northwest Side. This year we came to Tommy’s. It was a decent place. The entire back room was blocked off for a party that still hadn’t come in by 11pm, so we were stuck in front. The beers on tap are decent for a small neighborhood place. It feels like the kind of place where you go every weekend if you live in the neighborhood. The prices were good. My bf ordered food and said it was very good, and the kitchen is open reasonably late. It was only crowded because we were a huge group and the back was closed. The bathroom was a little weird and a single, but it was clean. I wouldn’t make this my regular place, but it wasn’t bad for a convenient meeting place for people coming off 90 to get together for a pleasant evening.

What can I say about Tommy’s??? Well, it’s just a good olé neighborhood joint. This is a place where you can get decent bar food and run in to the neighborhood peeps. It’s pretty comfortable and isn’t usually too crowded. The beer is ice cold here! This is mainly why I like it. Definitely not for the trendy, upscale clientele. If this is what you’re looking for, go somewhere else.

I came here to meet up with some old friends from school. It’s a great location to meet when you’ve got folks from the Western ‘Burbs and NW Chicago getting together. We were here on a Friday night but the place didn’t seem busy at all. There’s the bar in the front and tables in the back room. Because we were all catching up with each other and sharing stories, I was kind of glad it wasn’t super crowded so we could actually have a conversation without yelling. Service was good, attentive but not hovering. The food is standard bar food. We shared the fries, nachos and buffalo wings. The wings were pretty spicy – just the way we liked them. The usual beers on tap and the margarita’s on the rocks were pretty good too. Lots of TV’s for the sports fans. Hubsbie had been here before and was kind of sad that I didn’t invite him out with us. Sorry hon, it was my turn to check this place out!

I read all the other reviews and am wondering where these trixies are? I mean the term trixie indicates that the girl is as least decent looking. I have not ever seen a good looking chick in here. This is way more of a dive bar then some Lincoln Park douche/trixiefest. The food is good here. Pretty average stuff. But the reason I come here is the beer is ice cold. They must keep their coolers at like 35 degrees. Not too many stools at the bar, but there is plenty of seating in the place.

It was a Thursday night, prof let out us out early. I’m starving, and I need a beer. So we came to Tommy’s. Their parking lot is a bit tricky to get into, especially due to the huge snow dump. We get in, and they’re playing sports on the tube, and old Irish songs on the radio. There were the office folks there finishing off happy hour. But after they left it got pretty quiet. I get a cajun chicken sandwhich with fries and a blue moon. Hubby get’s a cheeseburger and fries and Guinness. They’ve changed their menu included more food. Will definitely go back. Need to get more people out there cause after 9:30 on a Thursday a bar should be more crowded.

This seems to be the happy hour spot for our company, and I finally made it to my first one celebrating a few birthdays. We came in through the back where there was a nice fire welcoming us in along with the sports channels on the tvs. We collected a few tables for our group and enjoyed the $ 2 domestic draft beers. They also have a bucket of 6 beers for $ 16 I think too as a special on Friday. They actually have decent food or appetizers here. The nachos was pretty good, and my coworkers seemed to like the mozzarella cheese sticks and the cheese fries. There is a front area that has more of the typical bar look, but I like how comfy the back area is. I have to say despite the good deals and the rest of the place the bathroom needs a major fixing. There was water dripping from the ceiling in the women’s bathroom and it wasn’t clear. So, the bucket looked like it was collecting dripping uring. It was right in the middle of the room so you definitely had to walk around it. It’s really bad because when you drink you have to go to the bathroom alot, and you don’t want to deal with having to avoid dealing with that situation. Plus, it just looks gross. Regardless, the cheap drinks will bring us back.

Tommy’s is a full bar with menu(simple fried pub grub). Dim lighting keeps the place inviting and nostalgic. The pub-style dining sets with the wide open glass doors in the front and additional outdoor seating might have us declare this location as the staple for after work drinking. I don’t remember the type of music playing but there are a few television sets overhead. The service was considerably quick, however, both my drinks tasted like water(vodka cranberry). My buddies and I will have to come back for a second round of drinks and to, this time, order the grub.
