Girlfriend’s dress alterations were absurdly expensive. Something in the neighborhood of $ 70. But my biggest problem with this store was when they supposedly undercharged me and had the audacity to call us to come in and pay the rest($ 10 or so if memory serves). Charge the incorrect amount and not catch it before I leave the store? Too bad, write it off. I will never give them any more of my business or my money. Hope the $ 10 was worth it!

Let me preface this by saying I NEVER write reviews, but given my experience I had at Two Ninety Cleaners, I felt compelled to write one. If I could rate them a zero, I would… I took a dress in for alterations to get shortened. I requested a certain stitch be used, and the girl that worked there confirmed that it could be done. When I went to pick up my dress, they had not only used the wrong stitch, but the hem they made was terribly uneven and they did not finish of the end of the stitch properly. The only sewing I have ever done is in home economics class in middle school, but I certainly feel as if I could have done a better job than whoever hemmed the dress at Two Ninety Cleaners. The girl that worked there provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced! When I pointed out the terrible hem job, the girl said there was nothing she could do. I then asked to speak to the manager, but she said he was not in. When I asked her to call the manager, she refused and laughed at me. She took my dress and put it behind the counter. When I asked her to bring it back so we could both look at the poor quality of the hem/stitch, she refused to bring me my dress. When I began asking her why I was not able to even look at my dress, she just ignored me. Needless to say, I will never return to Two Ninety Cleaners again.

Terrible. If they say your clothes will be done on Wednesday all day, expect Thursday when you go in. If you are going in for alterations, be careful, it looks like they used scissors. My dry cleaning was late, my alterations were bad and they did refused a discount or any reimbursement.

I started coming to this place because I thought it was a bargain… but you get what you pay for! I take my fiancé’s shirts and pants cleaned here, and they ruined 2 pair of his brand new pants, refuse to admit that it was due to some fault of theirs, and therefore refuse to do anything about it. We brought the brand new pants there to be cleaned and pressed, and when we got them home and were putting them away, he noticed that both of the back belt loops on both pair, the fabric was rubbed threadbare, and the white threads were all exposed on the black pants… it looked like when you skin your knee in a pair of jeans and the threads are exposed. They said that they checked all other pants they cleaned that day(which was impossible because this was almost a month after they were cleaned… unlikely that they still have all of the pants they cleaned that day a month ago), and none of them had this. Well, these were brand new pants, were not damaged in any way, we brought them to the cleaners, I picked them up, promptly brought them home, and they are damaged. So at some point while in their care, this happened to BOTH pair. If it was just one, I could maybe see their point. But BOTH pair of nice, expensive dress pants. It’s been almost 2 months now and my fiancé has gone through a nightmare trying to get in touch with anyone who can do anything about this. It’s still not resolved, and he was told to go talk to the owner at another location where he works. But based on some other reviews I’ve seen, I’m doubting he’s going to get anywhere with it… The way this place is run is extremely shady. Yes, it’s a bargain, but USERBEWARE they have a poor track record for taking good care of clothing, and they will do NOTHING about it if they do. I intend to follow up with the BBB, and will update this post if we ever get a hold of the owner.

I have had pants altered, suits dry cleaned, and shirts laundered at Two Ninety Cleaners about 5 or 6 times now. The staff, well it only seems to be Svitlana, is always nice and I have not had any issues with my clothing. The shop was able to turn around same day for me on one occasion and at no extra charge. I will be returning to this location for sure.

Supposedly clothes make the man, i say pressed, starched clothes make the sartorial connoisseur. I have to agree with Nick D., I cannot relate to Ricky D. I have had 25 shirts cleaned at 2 ninety cleaners on multiple occasions and«European girl» did a great job each time. Actually, one time they could not get rid of a stain from my suit, and they called me and requested more time to have another go at the offensive stain. The price is also unbeatable, too bad I moved further away. Some unsolicited advice; its fine to «laundry» light colors, dark colors you want to have dry cleaned.
