Been to this place a few times, never had a bad experience and invited more of my friends to hang out at this bar. Our bartender is awesome, even the regulars there are super friendly! We love coming to this place and they let you bring in food which is awesome!

What can I say about it. I love it! This became our go to neighborhood bar. Nothing fancy. Restrooms always clean. Great to have a beer and watch sports. I do love their great selection of beers! Not your typical Coronas and Miller choices. Instead some local IPA’s and Pale Ale is what we enjoyIf you are from the area you know you don’t find that anywhere else. Our favorite bartender, Yoli, is always friendly and attentive to all her customers. If you want specially mix drinks this place ain’t for you. It’s a sports Bar! Hands down, Love this place.

Lady working the bar had a huge attitude. A scrooge older lady in her grandma years. Then I asked her to make a mix drink with rum and told me she didnt know how to make it. Like seriously your behind the bar and dont know how to make a mix drink!!! She didnt care to offer me anything else. Right away I could tell she didnt care to service me. Just wanted to stay to watch a game and have a few drinks. Bar only had 2 customers and I see why. I didnt bother staying. took my business elsewhere by armitage and kedzie where I stood almost until closing because I had great service and the environment was friendly. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to waste time at the establishment.

Some day, a Logan Square hipster whose nose for craft beer is as a bloodhound’s for deer will cross the tracks and realize that they have Revolution Anti-Hero and Gold Cross on tap here. If they bring volume geometry skills with them, they might be disappointed to realize that the consistently short pours here are much closer to 12 oz.(i.e. bottle/can size) than the full pint typical of draughts east of the tracks. Might as well settle for bottles and cans. But, a better reason to come here is because it’s the kind of solid, friendly neighborhood bar which is becoming increasingly scarce to the east and it’s not at all seedy like some spots on the western fringe of Logan Square that you might walk past to get here. Recently rehabbed from its prior incarnation as Trier’s Lads, this is easily the best-kept bar within at least a mile west past Weegee’s on Armitage. With numerous TVs there’s not a bad seat in the house for watching a game(or horses at off-peak hours). Though Hermosa is a predominantly Latino neighborhood, English is the dominant language amongst the white & blue collar mix here, and this is your place to go if your Spanish isn’t ready for La Posada across the street. So that’s what they do here, they provide a social setting, they show sports on the television, and they serve beer. Friends for the friendless, drunkenness to the sober.
