West Point Cleaners

Your regular dry cleaners. No frills. Don’t always understand him but he is always nice and courteous. Good on price but the quality is just OK. Some of my shirts seem to be worn out.
I wished they delivered and picked up.

So I wanted to boycott because of their hemming prices but this really is the best, friendliest dry cleaner in the neighborhood. I know their limits and use them for what they are good at.

I had been going here about a year without issue. The man was always nice but always asked for my name each time I came (which was often enough for him to remember). The last time I went in to pickup clothes, he remembered my name without me telling him and was more sober than usual. I should have checked my clothes then. Unfortunately I didn’t check them until later that night when the shop was closed. A $ 100 new silk blouse that I had worn once and just needed to be freshened up was ruined when I took it out of the plastic bag — little pills all over it and was shrunken. I was furious as it looked like it got laundered not dry cleaned as I asked for, and the tag clearly said. I brought it back the next day hoping he would pay for me to get a new one (I showed him the price online when I got there) and he became irate and told me I brought it in like that and I was wrong. He was yelling and waving his arms at me. There was another customer in the shop at the same time that actually picked up what he was going to drop off and said he was taking his business elsewhere. Well that made the man even more mad at me that I «made him lose customer». When I realized I wasn’t getting anywhere with him I left and he went so far as to follow me out and continue to yell at me as I got in my car. Ridiculous behavior… isn’t the customer always supposed to be right? Yeah, don’t go here.

Awesome customer service! I brought in a pair of suit pants to be shortened and they had them done in less than 2 hours. I used to own my own dry cleaners and we rarely did same day tailoring. I was very impressed. I needed the pants for an interview the next day. I will be back.

i’ve been going to this place recently for weekly dry cleaning and have been pleased so far.
they are open until 7pm during the week and take credit cards, so that’s worth the 4^th star!

I really love West Point Cleaners. I dont have dry cleaning to do every week, but when I take something there its usually a giant down comforter or a big winter coat. They’ve always done a great job, are always the least expensive and they get things done quickly. I would never go elsewhere!
