I have now been going to VERONICA J., for about 1 year. I LOVE my lashes. I get them refreshed every 3-​weeks, sometimes 4. I always receive complements on how natural they look. The vibe is relaxing because only you and her. She plays soothing music. She holds great conversation. I believe she will get very far in this industry, because I have seen and been to a couple lash places before her. Thanks VERONICA J.

I called to make a followup up appointment 2 weeks later… UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Sent an email from the website. got a call back from Veronica’s assistant who was going to call me back… never happened… Veronica is great but her assistant may be costing her more business than she’s worth…

I started with a full set end of May. They looked great and lasted over four weeks! I have been in for two relasheses since and I love them. Veronica is very profressional and is opening another location on Webster soon.

I agree with Laurie W. I had a good experience. Yes, the location wasn’t that easy to find, but so what! I had a Groupon and I was still on time for my appointment. I got the semi-​permanent partial cat eye lashes. I found Veronica very professional. She discussed lash care and also gave me an info card with care instructions. I bought specially formulated mascara to volumize the lashes even more. They lasted about 4 weeks. The lashes even withstood a one hour facial with steam!

These people are impossible to get a hold of. I’ve left two messages weeks ago and not a peep back!

I had a similar experience as O.B. and Anne K. I also went here on a groupon. First, it was really hard to find. The address has two entrances and I went into the wrong one (a normal office building) first. By the time I figured out there was a second entrance, I was 15 minutes late. I was not enthused about the weird co-​op set up, but I figured it wasn’t that big of a deal for some gorgeous lashes. When I arrived (almost 20 minutes at this point), Veronica was still working on someone else. I proceeded to wait about another 30 minutes before she finally took me. (A call that she was running so late would have been nice, so I didn’t have to rush out of work.)
The space is small and not glamorous, but again, I was willing to overlook this b/​c I would have my eyes closed anyway. What I was NOT ok with was that it did not appear that Veronica had changed the sheet on the table between me and the previous appointment. It looked rumpled and I didn’t see any other sheets (clean or dirty) in the room. It really took a lot for me to get on that table. (I am sorry, but that is just not hygenic).
Veronica did my lashes and they came out lovely. There was a lot of touching my face innvolved. I wish she had put some tissue or something on my forehead where she was touching me a lot because I ended up getting a huge zit there. I also wish I had been told when booking the appointment that you can’t get them wet for 24 hours. I would have made it for a different time.
So, I went home, showered with goggles the next morning per Veronica’s instructions, and noticed a little gap in the outside corner of my lashes. I left Veronica a message asking if I could pop in for like 5 or 10 minutes any time she had available to fill in that little spot. (It was the weekend of a special event and I knew that spot would bug me). No call back. Not even to tell me she couldn’t do it. She also never called me to schedule a re-​lash like she said she would.
The lashes did not last nearly as long as advertised. They began falling off within days and were completely off within 2 weeks. In the meantime, they sort of half-​popped off so they twisted at weird angles. My own lashes were broken and stubby as a result.
Bottom line, I loved the look of the lashes for a couple of days. I will get them again, just not here.

I saw this on Groupon, and was so excited. Had some false eyelashes for my wedding a year ago and my husband loved them so much I wanted to surprise him again for my brother’s wedding in Mexico this year. Before purchasing my Groupon, I corresponded with Veronica J via email to be sure they would fit my needs. I wanted to be sure they would withstand the pool and ocean, since I would be attending a wedding in Mexico. She said they certainly would, as long as I let them set 48 hours. So I purchased the full set of semipermanent lashes. It was $ 115 on Groupon, listed as a $ 250 value to last 4 – 6 weeks. First off, it took me over a week and several phone calls to set up an appointment or even get a return phone call. Finding the location was not easy the day of either. It is in the basement of a building, in this co-​op sort of space with several business working out of tiny rooms they rent independently with no receptionist or map at the front door. If I was in a location such as Whip Lashe, I would give instructions to my clients before they come. Once she was done, though, I must say they looked fantastic. She individually attaches around 50 eyelash extensions on each eye to your individual existing eyelashes. They were not over the top, and I kept getting great compliments on how good I looked. People couldn’t tell right off it was my eyelashes, which I thought was great, they would just say I looked extra nice or asked if I was wearing new makeup or did my hair differently. According to my instructions, I had to let my lashes set 48 hours without any water contact. I did not shower for two days (gross) and still had some of the lashes literally falling out 3 days after I had them put on. They are not cheap, and it takes almost two hours, so this was extremely disappointing. I had them fall out over two weeks, sometimes taking out my own lashes with them. And at times, the false eye lashes took out several of my lashes, not just one. The reason I got these is my lashes are sparse as it is, so this was horrible. Also, they started to stick together, and bend at odd angles. Even with mascara, it was a battle to get them to look right and I was hoping to not need makeup at all by the pool/​beach with these. I followed all the instructions given– no waterproof mascara, no lotions or face wash with oils, and even used the little wand she gave me at my appointment. I was very gentle with them at all times– when sleeping, swimming, putting on the little make up I do wear, etc. But alas, ALL the extensions of my full set of lashes were gone in 2 weeks almost to the date. On a side note, these instructions I previously listed were not openly given to me. Veronica J said very little during our appointment, and I only learned all these precautions by asking her in detail how to care for my lashes, as I wanted to be sure they looked great for as long as possible. Again, they looked fabulous, but only for 3 days, and it certainly was not worth the hassle of keeping them manageable afterwards and loosing the little eyelashes I do have naturally. I most definitely will not return, and do not recommend this for anyone.

I could not agree more with Anne K., same exact experience.
i would say my lashes looked okay for 2 days. there was so much glue on them that they hurt and i had to go get them redone at another place.
such a nice woman but my lashes were a disgrace. I wanted to love them but they pulled out so much of my own lashes, and went so crazy i just had to get rid of them. i put up with them for 2 weeks before they looked so crazy I had to do something.
groupon apologized and gave me my money back
what is also worth mentioning is that when i went to the other salon to get my lashes sorted, the girl beside me had had the exact same trouble with her lashes and was getting them removed at the time.
