This is a great spot and Marisa is awesome. I’ve always seen her for my waxing and I highly recommend her. Makes you feel comfortable and is great at distracting you from actual waxing going on. I feel it doesn’t hurt as much as other places I’ve gone to before too. Most recently, she is helping grow out and reshape my eyebrows which had been over plucked by someone else. They are looking better thanks to her.

The best waxing place in Chicago. After Kristine’s waxing closed this was the closest place to me and even though they moved the locating I go there to. Everything is always up the par, hygiene, atmosphere and Kristy always makes you feel comfortable.

Kristy is the absolute best! I’ve been coming to her for 2 and a ½ years since moving to Chicago and although I’ve moved out of the neighborhood, I’ll continue making the trip to go to her for years to come. She is kind and patient and meticulous. I don’t go often, but she even remembered personal details about me and the guy I was dating at the time! Developing a personal rapport goes a long way with keeping clients. Plus, she’s just awesome! I go for Brazilians, eyebrow and lip waxing and have never been disappointed. I’m so happy to see all of the good reviews, because she really is 5-​star!

I have been going to Kristy for a few months now. We just moved from St. Louis and I’m soooo relieved to have found her. She is an amazing person and ridiculously talented at what she does.

After carefully researching, I booked my first appointment with Kristy. She was so sweet and kind. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and the eyebrow wax was practically painless. I couldn’t recommend her enough! I will definitely be returning!!!

A woman should never take a bikini wax lightly. No matter how many times I get it done, it still knocks the wind out of me. However, I’m not sure how Kristy does it, but her waxes are quick and virtually painless! After (unsuccessfully) trying many, many different aestheticians for Brazilians in Chicago, I finally found Kristy after reading many great reviews. And boy, were the other reviewers spot on. The salon has a chill, comfortable feel. Kristy is friendly, gentle, and extremely precise. Despite my apparent anxiety at having my first Brazilian in a long time, Kristy (and her calming crystal) made me feel at ease. She uses a numbing spray and waxes small areas at a time, making the process virtually painless. I’m so glad I finally found a great aesthetician and will definitely be coming back!

She was professional, friendly and gentle. Let’s face it, bikini waxes can be both painful and uncomfortable. Not the case with Kristy. She made me feel at ease throughout the process. And, for the first time, it was completely painless! She was very thorough and ensured that I was happy with both the results and the experience.

I’ve been seeing Kristie for a while now. I’ve seen my share of waxers in Chicago and I finally found «the one».
Kristie is personable. Makes you feel super comfortable. Online appointments and takes credit cards. All great. But what’s most important is she does a FANTASTIC job. Practically painless. Quick and thorough. I hesitated to post this for fear of loosing her to the masses but she’s just too wonderful not to share. Give her a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Kristy is simply amazing. I’ve been going to her for about a year now for Brazilians (which btw if you’ve had one takes a certain level of courage inversely proportionate to your self-​consciousness) and Kristy is simply amazing! She has a nice chill space, makes clients feel relaxed and comfortable, easy to chat with, and has superior skill and products. I am never disappointed, and due to her diligence have never had to deal with things like ingrown hairs, sore skin, etc. that have been common (at least for my skin) with other aestheticians. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!

For almost five years, Kristy has been the only person I trust to wax my eyebrows (not to mention other delicate areas), but she does so much more than just waxing.
Recently, I’ve gone to her for a facial, as well as eyelash extensions, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She’s such a perfectionist and she will make sure you’re completely satisfied with every service. She really goes the extra mile for her clients.
She was also the make-​up artist for my wedding, the most important day of my life. She made me look exactly as I envisioned: the best possible version of myself, but not with so much makeup that no one would recognize me. I just wanted to look like a blushing bride. She absolutely nailed it: glowing, dewy skin, bold lashes, and classic pink lips.
