this has been one of the best experiences in health care i have ever had. seriously. the level of care and expertise i have had here has been above and beyond. i have struggled with some health concerns for the last three years for which no real solution could be found until coming to rush and working with the doctors in this particular clinic. the building they are housed in is kinda scary. it’s off the main hospital campus, off of jackson, not paulina or congress. you get to park in the second rate parking garage, and use the building that shares space with about 100 different other offices… but the doctors in this practice genuinely care about what they are doing and if they are treating your issues correctly and with compassion. the truth is, there are a lot of residents working in these offices, and that, for me, is a plus. they are young and enthusiastic. they want to help you and are not completely cynical. they are still learning and have a lot of new knowledge to give you, as a patient. i am not put off by their status at all. they are all overseen by other doctors, and, in my case, when surgery is needed, this doctor is the one who does the major work. the attending doctor who is in charge of my surgical needs is attentive and warm, and i feel completely confident in her as a doctor. she actually personally returns my calls, which is something i don’t even encounter at smaller hospitals with far fewer patients or doctors. i was really impressed with that. if you are in the market for a lady doctor, dr. cork is seriously a rock star.
