Still not crazy about this place, and won’t buy from them again, but they finally did send me the replacement for the defective unit I first received.

I might be going on a short trip soon, so I’ve been looking for affordable luggage. Worldwide Electronics had a suitcase outside of their store, apparently to lure in customers in need of travel accessories. There was a good selection of inexpensive luggage, but I had in mind a semi-​soft carry-​on with wheels. A salesman offered me help, which I accepted. I found styles that I liked at very good prices. However, he tried to haggle with me which made me lose interest in shopping.
Him: This one. Good quality.
Me: Yes, it’s nice.
Him: I can make good price for you. $ 40.
Me: Let me just take a look at it. Thanks.
Him: $ 35!
Me: I’m just looking for now.
Him: How about $ 30?
Me: I’m not buying anything today. I’m just LOOKING.
Him: Why not buy today?
Me: I won’t need this for another month.
Him: I gave you good price!
Me: It IS a good price, so I’ll come back later.
Him: So, why not buy today?!
— Cut to Curtis’s dialogue —
Him to Curtis: So you buy today?
Curtis: Maybe. (We’re just looking.)
Him: Why maybe?!
(When Curtis said «maybe» it seemed like the salesman had never heard the word before.)
I’ve never, ever, ever in my entire life experienced such pushy sales! The salesman had absolutely no strategy except to overwhelm customers with endless, aggressive insistence. We left in a matter of minutes.
