We went in here with high hopes since it’s pretty close to our house. The worst part about this place is the service. We ordered two yogurt smoothies, and the young lady behind the counter was doing her best to describe how to make it, when the manager came out and got angry at us because we weren’t doing it right and we were using too much fruit. We almost put the smoothies on the counter and walked out, but felt bad for the girl behind the counter, so we took it for them. Steer clear of this place because any place that yells at their customers for trying to understand their product does not need someone else’s hard earned money.

This place is your average froyo shop. The selection of yogurt flavors isn’t the greatest and the toppings are somewhat minimal. However, I like that other dessert options are available as well. Customer service isn’t the greatest. It ranges from friendly to unresponsive. We found this place on Unilocal with a check in offer, went in to redeem it and the staff had no idea what we were talking about. But they redeemed the offer anyways which was nice. I’ll come back when I need a quick froyo fix but would probably walk a bit further to other places for a better experience.

Stay away from this place like it’s the plague. 10 minutes for a smoothie with tapioca, the tapioca was extremely hot and congealed at the bottom, not how tapioca balls are supposed to be… the worst part? The man who I’m assuming is the owner was spraying bug killer all over the counters and equipment. I threw it out and walked right down to Yummy Yummy where they use ACTUALFRUIT unlike the jelly out of a can used here… Never. Again.

Am I in the twilight zone? I cannot fathom why it is taking so long to make a smoothie? Ice. Strawberries. Blend. Nope.

I really want to like this place since it’s right around the corner from my apartment but I’ve been let down the last two times I’ve been in there. The service isn’t very friendly, it’s not clean, and today, my Oreos were extremely stale. Aside from personal complaints, there were not separate serving spoons for each of the ingredients, instead there was a bowl of 5 spoons that could be used as needed. First of all, a lot of people have allergies making this unsafe for individuals with such. Secondly, cross contamination is absolutely a serious risk and a food inspection violation. YoFresh, if you read this, I highly suggest you fix it as a report is being made.

this place is perfect for fro yo. CHEAP prices for good fro yo that is better or just as good as anywhere else. The prices are great and the place is clean, VERYCHILL unlike pink berry and other places. You can get the same flavors you would anywhere else. The vibe is so chill and the workers are friendly.

Real good frozen yogurt. Clean and friendly service. Not too much of a selection but they have the classics like: tart, strawberry banana, and such. Prices were reasonable.

There seems to be a lot of frozen yogurt options in Chicago, but very few of them are actually good. I’d really like to say YoFresh is one of the good ones, but I thought this shop ranked just«ok». I met a friend here because it has a convenient location right on Broadway. After browsing the selection, I decided I wanted to try before buy and had to ask the cashier for a tasting cup. Not too big of a deal — a minor inconvenience. Didn’t take to some of the ones I tried, but settled on the original tart flavor. Good selection of toppings, though some of the popular bins like chocolate chips were empty. I will say that the strawberries I had were fresh, which in my experience is something that can be hit or miss at other frozen yogurt shops. Cashier was friendly, but the place was pretty empty the entire time we were there. As my froyo comrade and I chatted, we couldn’t ignore the pesky fruit flies that buzzed around us. Unfortunately, there are so many other options in Chicago that I probably won’t be back. I’d rather risk the extra calories and walk a few doors down to Bobtail :)

YoFresh Yogurt recently opened on Broadway. As I entered the store, was a was a strong odor of cleaning solution and a worker with a huge mop, mopping the floor. The strong odor did not motivate me to want to buy yogurt, but I guess it’s better than being stuck to the floor. They give samples at YoFresh but customers are not allowed to take them themselves. I sampled the mango dairy free, it was extremely tart. I would’ve liked to sample the watermelon but the machine was not working. They have a small selection of toppings to add to your yogurt. They charge $.45 an ounce for their yogurt at YoFresh. If you checked in on Unilocal or Facebook you get a 10% discount on your order. Parking is next to impossible to get on the street, better idea to walk. At this time I am giving YoFresh 3 stars, but I will come back and try their yogurt again.

I had a desire for boba tea, and saw this new shop that offered it. I ordered a mango boba tea, however, it was the worst drink that I have ever tried. FIrst, the drink itself was overly sweet. My girlfriend and I could only stand a few sips before we thought we might have heart attacks from the overload of sugar and threw it away. Second, the boba itself was not fully cooked. I bit into the hard balls, and I could taste the starch particles in the center. They also have a cup sealer machine, which should be used for boba drinks, so you can stab it with the straw, but my drink came with a dome lid. Unfortunate. I did not try the froyo, however. The location seems to have a random selection of many items from different regions; yogurt, boba tea, smoothies, samosas, and meat patties. Jack of all trades, master of none?

Disclaimer: this is regarding a kiwi mango smoothie I had, which tasted OK. However, the best mango smoothies are made from real mangoes. They use mango jam to make their mango smoothies. This place is new, but as I’m smoothie-oriented and lactose intolerant. I shall take my smoothie needs(and smoothie money) to a place that makes fresh fruit smoothies. As a side note, it was very clean inside and has lots of fun soft serve options, I’m sure they are quite good.

They brought back my favorite dulce de leche! This is my favorite after dinner treat, and is healthier than ice cream which makes me feel better about eating more than I probably should. The staff is always wonderful and helpful, and the owner is always good conversation. The samosas are delicious as well!

This place is so close to my apartment so it pains me to give only two stars. This is the only yogurt place I have EVER been to(and trust me, I’ve been to my fair share of self-serve froyo places) in which an employee is required to dispense the samples. In every other self-serve froyo shop, a customer asks for sample cups and then is allowed to choose and dispense whatever flavor they are interested in trying. It’s so strange, awkward and uncomfortable. I would be here a couple times a week if it weren’t for this strange policy. Until it changes, I’ll be happily walking the many extra blocks to Paciugo or Forever Yogurt on Belmont.

Came here last night with a friend after dinner to satisfy our froyo cravings. We both loved it! Delicious flavors! I was glad there were two dairy free options(strawberry kiwi and mango), unfortunately the swirl feature was not working. The topping bar is great– they have coconut jellies :) A major plus is that this place is open until 11pm on weeknights.

There are a lot of yogurt places to choose from but I really LOVE this place. They offer you a free yogurt if your yogurt weighs in at 13.5 oz exactly. Great flavors, great selection, nice staff.

Clean, tidy and a nice addition to the neighborhood. Yogurt by the ounce with two dozen toppings available.
