Blush Catering

Last Saturday Blush Catering catered my wedding at The Palms. Woody & his staff did an amazing job!!! The food was cooked to perfection and their service was unbeatable. Him and his staff were there all day, worked extremely hard, were all super friendly, prompt & ensured everything turned out perfect on the most important day of my life. So many of my friends and family have said how amazing the food was & what a great job they did! I couldn’t be a more satisfied customer!

Woody cares alot about his food. Every time I’ve been to an event catered by Blush, he is there working hard to make it right, from the wild mussels on down to the definitely not from a gun soft drinks.

Do not use Blush Catering! I am sure there are many great and reputable catering companies in the Chico area, but this is NOT one of them! My sister and her fiancé won a free wedding cake from this company at a bridal fair — or at least, supposedly they did. They gave a year’s notice of the date of the event, had met with the company to discuss the cake, had set a date for the cake tasting — and then Blush Catering never showed to the cake tasting. Soon after that when contacted, they stated that they could not make the cake — TWO WEEKS before the wedding! That is beyond ridiculous and completely unprofessional. It would be one thing if a year before the wedding they had backed out — still would have been unprofessional, but at least it would have given the happy couple enough time to find another caterer. But TWO WEEKS before the wedding? I am disgusted with this company. They have caused a huge amount of additional stress as my sister and her fiancé now scramble to find someone who can provide a cake in two weeks. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. Take your business elsewhere!

We chose Blush Catering for our organization’s annual fundraising event and the food was excellent. Everything on the menu complimented each other well and the quality was outstanding. We received a lot of good feedback from attendees on the dinner as well as the servers. Woody was great to work with and his whole team was attentive and professional. Thanks Blush Catering!

We recently hosted a fundraising concert at our facility where Blush Catering had been hired by the organizers. Several weeks prior to the event I personally spoke with Woody Guzzetti and confirmed the menu that had been decided upon to fit the South American theme of the event, (paella, green salad, artisan bread) and time 5:30pm for guest arrival. After an excruciatingly embarrassing hour and a half with many phone calls, the food finally arrived and was, quite obviously, thrown together at the last minute. Three East Indian themed dishes including spinach and uncooked tofu, curried yams and burned dal were slopped onto guests’ plates. No bread, no salad, just three piles of slop. When I asked about the paella, I was told «its like paella.» Seriously!?! In an attempt to keep guests happy, the non-​profit opened their bar and, consequently, lost $ 450 in sales during the wait. Nothing about this experience was positive.
We never allow non-​approved caterers at our facility and this is exactly why. Not only was our relationship with the non-​profit potentially damaged, our facility’s reputation for excellence was also put at risk. Never again.
