As I was Unilocaling I came across Plutos. I recalled going here ONCE (maybe 4 months ago?) and that was enough.
The ordering system is so weird, all different stations and you can order at any. Anyone who’s new to the place will just stand there lost. There is not a clear system and in a lunch rush you really need one! Food was absolutely mediocre. I saw the salads that people had and they looked really good, I however got a sandwich and it was not. It has never crossed my mind to go back, that says a lot.

Went there on a random Saturday, just a boy lost in the city of Burnettes and bad decisions. Going to Plutos was a rare good decision I made in Chico. Matt made a great sandwich, and his fiery hair gave my sandwich an extra crisp. Dope

Searched Unilocal for salad places and found a Fantastic salad! Not only did they toss the salad with the exactly requested amount of dressing, they worker was extremely friendly and helpful! Great place to quickly grab a quality salad!

Food is always good and the man who is the daytime manager during the week was very understanding and customer friendly when there was an issue with my credit card being charged twice. He was polite and professional and handled it great. I will keep coming back to a place that respects the customers the way he does.

The salads here are pretty good, fresh, HUGE and good prices. A side salad is the size of a big salad and the «main» salad is huge lol. It’s a little awkward ordering but i love this place. Chico lacks places like this and I am glad there is one here.

Best of the best of the best! I love this place! I took my husband here for his first time and he agrees with me. The food is fresh and everything is absolutely delicious! You can’t go wrong here.

A friend and were in the area and looking for a place we could grab a sandwich or salad to go. This was close and met those requirements.
Ordering lines were a bit confusing. Apparently you walk up to a particular station based on what you want to order e.g. Salad, sandwich, entrée. However, there was only one line so it seemed like that’s where you had to go. We didn’t find out we could go straight to the sandwich station until we reached the head of the salad line.
We both ordered a create your own sandwich of grilled chicken on focaccia, and enjoyed them. Great bread, tasty add ons like the balsamic onions.
Prices were decent: $ 6.99 total for my sandwich, no sides or drinks. Overall, I was impressed for a chain restaurant.

Plutos is a great place to grab lunch or dinner. You can create any salad you want. They also have great sandwiches and sides! I am constantly craving their sweet potato fries! Nom nommmm

Let me start of by saying when I visit Chico I eat here at least once a day. The salads are delicious build your own with very tasty ingredient options. I am vegan so almost all the other menu items are not for me. But the service is excellent accommodating and fast for how busy they get. Nice atmosphere and quality service. The only knock against Is the price and it is not organic. Otherwise I recommend for a great salad place.

Just had the «Turkey In Flight» sandwich. Fresh sliced turkey with bacon and added cranberry sauce. It was a bit messy but that seemed to add to the enjoyment of the sandwich. MMMM! Very good! The service was good and very friendly. I’ll be back! :-)

Always a good healthy place to eat. Size salad is huge, love the people who work there always different but always have a smile. Great bread too. The employees there know slot about what they sell and I like that.

Salad bar is soooo delish! Mash pataoes and gravy yesssss sir. I always get the tri tip salad and a rice crispy treat !!! Sitting at the window is always fun for people watching

Plutos kinda went down hill. I use to love their French dip and the last few times I had it, the meat was dry n fatty n I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt… but not anymore. Salads are good and the sides, I love the cream cheese brownie also.

Good change of pace for the heavy meat meals…
Plutos offers some pretty fresh and tasty food, a bit pricey but served fresh with quality ingredients and friendly staff. It’s confusing with all the choices even for those who have been here before. Wife had a main salad with tomatoes, red onions, green olives, croutons, and grilled chicken. I had a roast turkey sandwich on focaccia bread with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. Everything is pretty much made to order so you can see them mix the salad while I saw them slice the roast turkey.
Greens were fresh although they weren’t perfectly cut and some pieces were a bit sloppily cut. But the food was definitely fresh, though not as cold or chilled as I’d like for a salad on a hot summer day. Another plus, they take Amex.
