Town House Motel

The only thing really great about this place is the price. It took us 3 times to get a room that did not smell like an ash tray and we could stay in. The air conditioner did not work very well and it was very hot inside. The towels were all worn through and bedding overall not comfortable. I would recommend staying somewhere else for a couple dollars more.

I consistently stayed here when I worked two 12 hour shifts in a row in Chico since I commuted from out of town. The rooms were clean and had what I needed. I always found Jay and Rita to be very sweet and helpful. There were no «partiers» carrying on in their motel.

We ended up staying here 3 nights. No huge complaints at all.

I checked into this hotel friday ¹⁰⁄₁₇ and the manager Jay was very rude to me from the start… I went into the NON smoking room that smelled like smoke had cigarette ashes on the floor. The next issue is it had ants all over the bathroom floor. I went to the office and informed the manager «JAY» who responded with «give me your card I’m going to void your transaction. I ask why and he responded with get your shit and get out. NICE service. I was 3 ½ hours away from home a female with 4 kids at 730 at night. Luckily I found a room after I called several places. And this was the last room I found everyone was book due to events going on

March 2014 — Rates low, Room clean, managers Jay & Rita are friendly and helpful.
No frills. Basics. They could afford larger bars of soap instead of minimal amount in a squeeze package. I think that the motel had been recently renovated as it appeared that it had a fresh paint job. I will use this motel on future visits.

Manager is rude! Hotel is dirty. The water does not get very hot, and the towels are used and almost worn through. I don’t think the bedspreads have ever been washed.
I do not recommend this hotel at all. This place sucks!
The manager and desk staff are unprofessional and didn’t want to help us by answering our questions. When pressed for answers the manager became defensive and verbally insulting. He canceled our reservation. In the long run he did us a great favor.

I don’t understand the negative information listed below. This is my whole honest feel about this hotel.
My room was perfect, crown molding on the ceiling, new modern furniture, large fridge with microwave, and flat screen TV. The room had hi speed internet that was faster than my home service. Black out curtains, AC worked amazing, very clean. No complaints.
Maybe they are in the process of upgrading the only thing that was a little off, is stains on linens and the towels are not that great. The shower head was a bit odd not like a normal head. We brought our own towels because I read they where not the greatest.
It was very quiet, and I slept amazing. I’m 15 weeks pregnant and slept through the whole night.
I would recommend this hotel and stay here again. When it’s football season and school season Chico hotels are outrageously priced. The holiday inn goes from under a bill to way over. So this is not a bad deal. I was not bothered by housekeeping management or anything. A perfect stay.

At first glacé looked great… then, when unloading into the room… COCKROACHES!!! Disgusting, checked out immediately.

THIS PLACE SUUUUUUCKS! I called last night & booked 2 nights & gave them my credit card number & all. told them I was coming from so cal that a.m. & would be there at about 10 pm. I arrived at the office at 10:13 and was told I had no room, no reservation & that they sold my room. DICKS!
I just got off the road from a 10 hour drive with no F-​ing room!!! the whole town is sold out so I am left to cram into my bf’s brothers smokey 1 bed room motel 6 & kick him onto the floor. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!
I HATE YOU TOWN HOUSE MOTEL & WILL TELL EVERYONE I EVER MEET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE TO HATE YOU TOO. MY LIFE NOW HAS A PURPOSE!

Not too bad of a motel, I stayed here back in 2005 for Labor Day floating, paid $ 35.00/night, I believe.
Rooms were fairly clean, pretty basic. Has a fridge & TV.
Recommended it to my family, and several have booked rooms here for one-​night trips and were not disappointed.
Can’t remember whether there is continental breakfast or not but we will
be returning to this motel soon, so I’ll post an update then!
Brought our dog, too, and he was welcome!
