It’s a bowling ally, if you come here expecting good food and a lavish beer menu your fooling yourself. The lanes and the facility are clean, the staff friendly. My wife loves fried mozzarella(she gets Hangry) they were as expected. Pre frozen flash fried ready in 10 minutes. Which was a good thing because If they took longer my wife may have lost it as her blood sugar levels were terribly low. Drinks were good and cheap, the bowling prices also fair. We use to go here once in a while when I was in college. Met some friends here last night. It was a good time.

This review is quite slanted due to the fact that I hate bowling and hate bowling alleys even more! I only went because my friend wanted me to go as part of her bachelorette party. This review was based on the food. I ordered a small order boneless chicken honey bbq wings, which was around $ 7.69. First, it took forever to cook. Secondly, the portion was really rinky dinky; I only got five wings and a couple of celery sticks. One of the pieces was undercooked. As far as bar, I ordered a small Blue Moon on draft and it cost me almost six dollars, which was just an okay price. If you want to bowl there, just binge at the McDonald’s across the street prior to coming there.

This place is awesome! Newly remodeled, up to date, and clean facility. There’s plenty of lanes(20+?), so I’m sure that even with league nights and birthday parties, they’ll almost always be an open lane. Getting set up with shoes and a lane was a breeze. We also opted for the $ 18/person unlimited games for 2 hours, shoes are an additional $ 2. While this is a little on the steep side($ 40 for a bowling date with my fiancé), it is cheaper than paying per game, if you’re going to do more than 2. The bowling itself was pretty pleasant. Nice, clean seating areas with lots of bowling balls to choose from. There’s a pro-shop and ball washer on site; video game arcade, bar and restaurant, too. I like that you can«personalize» the screen above your lane with different themes, and they have awesome music playing overhead(think 90s alternative and some modern pop). One slight hitch is that several times(about once per frame), an incorrect number of pins were counted, and we had to correct it over and over again. They do have an awesome food«menu», which you can find in all of the seating areas: everything from burgers, to nachos, to chicken strips, dessert, and so on. The prices are about what can be expected for a bowling alley(I believe we spent less than $ 10 on an order of nachos and a large drink). Our food only took a couple of minutes to come out. The nachos were not very impressive(what with the Hormel chili on top, soggy chips), but I would be willing to try something else that they offer. Leagues are offered, and Chicopee lanes is a solid date-night destination. Get ‘ya food, bowling, and drinks all in one convenient stop.

The inside was remodeled, beautiful, new carpets, chairs, new technology with nice score screens, easy to use player menus, nice shoes and equipment, and nice bar with awesome bartender. The video game are for the kids, though, was terrible. 80% of the games were out of order, and made a bad 1st impression since we had to wait over an hour to get a lane. But that was all outweighed by the fact that we couldn’t start bowling for over an hour after arriving, even though there were many open lanes. They stated the entire bowling alley was rented out until a certain time for a tournament, which was true, but many lanes finished and went home. Instead of using common sense and letting people go onto the lanes, they just said to keep waiting, and waiting, and waiting. There’s no sense in losing repeat business from customers because of a technicality that could’ve easily been worked around. Otherwise, the staff was great and accommodating, it’s just the feeling of waiting around for absolutely no reason because of corporate rules instead of using common sense.

place was very up to date and clean. everything was well kept and the place looked new. they have the flat panels for scores with the animations, the carpeting looked new, lanes were new, and the keypad for entering names and such was new. the service was friendly as well. they have a small bar section which is a nice option for those who want it. they have an arcade section for the kids and the typical bowling alley food as well as vending machines. we opted for the $ 18 unlimited games for 2 hours plan. throw in $ 2 for shoes. if i remember correctly, it was $ 6.50/game otherwise. a little more than i’m used to. i would recommend this place.

This place hasn’t been reviewed in a while and by reading the reviews I was hesitant on going. However, this bowling alley is great! The manager was the person who checked us in. He said that he has been there for a year and has worked really hard on turning the place around. The inside is really nice, I was told they did a recent remodel. It was clean, bright, and had an overall fun feel. The staff was pretty friendly. They weren’t overly nice, but were courteous and helpful. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. Though the food is a little more expensive than I expected, it was brought to us fresh, hot, and relatively fast considering how busy they seemed. We’ll definitely be back. Call ahead before going to make sure they have availability as they have a lot of leagues in the evening. If you went more than a year ago it might be worth it to give these guys another shot. It’s a great place to have fun no matter the weather. Also, they often have specials on their Web site and during the summer.

Went for a birthday party for a 5yr old… Staff was rude. Not really clean or nice inside. Ample parking. They don’t allow outside beverages aka my dunkin donuts coffee. Expensive food and poor selection.

Bowling alleys are bowling alleys, but some are better than others. This is good to do when there’s nothing to do(which is usually the case in my area). It’s relatively clean, and there’s music and an arcade so it’s perfect for kids’ birthday parties. I wouldn’t go there all the time, but it’s a fun thing to do with friends, even if you stink worse than the place does ;) haha.
