Horrible experience! If I could give them negative stars, I definitely would. Drove to Chillicothe Friday evening, January 16 to meet a friend to celebrate SELMA. TICKETSAREEXTREMELYEXPENSIVEFORTHEPOORQUALITYTHEATEREXPERIENCE! Previews were odd because no transitions and the movie just started unexpectedly. I had such an excruciating experience that I couldn’t enjoy the movie. The theater next to ours was so loud that the sound with SELMA was relegated to being unheard and vocals/sound track were lost as everything was drowned out by the sound from Night at The Museum. After the movie, I walked into an office and got 2 free passes from the manager and a passive oops. He tried to say it was my fault that the sound wasn’t adjusted during the movie because nobody came out to complain. There were 15 patrons watching SELMA he explained and someone should have made him aware of the problem. I tried to help him understand that SELMA is an Epic and I couldn’t imagine someone leaving to report issues or even go to the RR. I lived and taught in Chillicothe years ago so this infuriates me even more because those wanting a great movie night should be rewarded with one and my evening says that they aren’t being given anything of quality. Wasted money! Need to spend more $$ to get the experience I should have had Friday night. Managerial assistance was disappointing. Theater was dirty. Had to wipe my freshly washed hands on my jeans in the RR… just check how you’re to dry your hands.

I used to love coming here, but recently have not enjoyed my experience here… Staff is very unprofessional and make you feel uncomfortable. They stand around like they’re on something, and laugh for no reason as they give each other weird glares, or stand around eating in front of you. Dude, I know you probably think it’s all cool to act like that, but guess what?!? Keep up with that behavior, then you might as well get used to saying«would you like butter with that» for the rest of your life, because with that kind of work ethic you are going nowhere! Another thing is the sound is always off and on and sometimes you might get the honor to sit in a room with no AC! Thanks for ruining this place guys. Two thumbs down!

New projectors recently installed for all screens really elevate the movie going experience here. Word is that audio upgrades in the near future should raise the level even more. All that technology goodness in a comfortable and always clean environment have restored this theater as a gem in our community. Oh, and the popcorn is always top notch too!

Completely unbalanced sound, dialog buried by music.

With all the 3D movies that have been Coming out danbarry really needs to step it up and buy an IMAX screen! Also the picture is frequently misaligned with the screen.

Definitely an improvement over the now closed Cinema 6 and Shawnee Cinema(at those theaters, you couldn’t even count on the movie making it all the way through without losing picture and/or sound). Danbarry offers stadium seating. The picture quality was okay, but the sound quality was not that good.
