Thought i give them a 2nd chance but not anymore miso on pipeline is a much better place to go and service we deserved.

I knew I stepped into foreign territory when I saw all the Taiwanese writing on the wall. Maybe a good place to visit if you’re Taiwanese, but I’m not sure if they know how to handle(or even want to serve) English speaking customers. The girl at the counter spoke very little English, which I can handle if it’s accompanied by a willing attitude, but in this case it wasn’t. She handed me a menu, and as I was looking at it she told me to sit down at a table. But then she(nor anyone else) ever came to take my order. There wasn’t even anyone else in the place, so it’s not like they were too busy. She just stood at the register the entire time. What is it with the service at these places? I decided to leave and as I went to put the menu back in it’s holder at the counter, she took it from me(as if I was doing it wrong). Good grief. I guess if you want friendly service you have to go for American or Mexican food.

My go to spot for Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. I’ve been to a lot of places in chino and chino hills searching for beef noodle soup, and this place is the best. Their broth is rich and really tasty, not watered down. The noodles are good and it’s pretty inexpensive. I like sliced beef instead of the beef chunks that they usually put in. The beef chunks are a little too thick and hard to chew which is why I’m docking a star. Their boba milk tea is delicious as well. I’m a usual customer here for sure. I haven’t had any other dishes but their beef noodle is what they are known for… But everything looks good. Nice service too.

Nice Taiwanese style cooking. Not many legit ones in Chino Hills, and this one is pretty good. I tried the house stewed pork, and it’s not bad, but I would’ve called it something else like home style stew instead of «kong ba». But the tofu wrapped fish cake roll needs improvement. I think it’s the fish paste that’s a bit on the soft and soggy side, because the fish paste wrapped pork was also soggy. Also the roll has a bit too much pepper, needs a bit more sugar, and the sauce needs to be a bit sweeter. The service was good, as they took responsibility and automatically remade when the roll came with the center still cold the first time. The beef noodle soup is a bit on the salty and oily side, and the beef should be more interesting — using beef shank should help. But it’s well cooked and the flavor is there.

pro: food is delicious relative to its price, they offer variety of combo rice with assortment of side dishes, you can get a decent meal under $ 10 con: service, waitress never smile, and they don’t accept credit card under $ 25, and they don’t offer any incentive like WARA or THAITWIST nearby, 1 star off for all cons. 4 stars because food and price is integral part of why I visit a restaurant.

Staff members are rude. The drinks took too long. By the time we got our drinks we had already finished our meal. They didnt offer us water to accompany our food. They didnt even apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the girl who made me a oolong milk tea THREE times… upon my request. Thanks for your utmost patience. I wasn’t looking for trouble but for $ 4.00, it literally tastes as bland as water, OK, maybe vaguely a trace of tea and remotely reminiscent of 0% milk, but definitely lacks sweetness. Even at the 3rd try, it tastes highly diluted. The waitress told me maybe it’s because the brewed tea was too bitter that the sugar didn’t manifest. But trust me, I’m a foodie and way past my youth, in those decades, I’ve had so many cups of milk tea, this IS bland. I applaud your effort for serving freshly brewed tea(maybe that’s why it costs more), but what good does it do if it tastes bland like slightly flavored H2O?

Good and really fast service and tasty house special beef noodle soup. Although they had run out of taro slush, the mango slush was delish. The place is clean and a little hidden gem among the big restaurants in the area.

So so Taiwanese food. Not the best. The drinks are so so. Probably won’t be coming here again.

I like going here and it’s near the office. I find the food here affordable and filling. My favorite here is the #24 and they have a nice selection of teas. I’d definitely be coming back.

Good Taiwanese food. The location of the place can be missed but it is worth venturing in. They have decent Chinese food and quite a lot of selections. I had the pig feet with rice and thought is was good. It was actually a big portion and wasn’t able to finish for lunch. Their drink selection was very nice as well. I had chosen the Hokkaido Milk Tea and I enjoyed it. Would definitely come back and would recommend others to go check it out.

Good Taiwanese food! I got their Lu rou fan(滷肉飯), Hokkaido shaved ice, beef noodle soup and their sweet and sour fish. The fish was actually really good. The crunchiness of it was pure delight~ the ice was pretty average but still good. Each additional add on is around $.25? Their 滷肉飯 is quite good and affordable too.

It’s good Taiwanese food. Don’t be fooled by the prices, it’s inexpensive but also really filling. I love the combos because they give you a little spoonful of several dishes along with your main course and it’s a nice variety to try. The sweet and sour fish is really good and fresh as is the pork belly and the tofu. The shaved ice is not good though, and the beef noodle soup they have on special isn’t really special.

Definitely one of the best and authentic Taiwanese food places you’ll find east of the 71(no man’s land). Now you have a reason to drive out here to visit those old friends who you’ve abandoned after they moved so far out(no longer your friends). Prepare to be railroaded by their tasty«Railroad Bento Box.» I have no logical grasp why a tasty piece of pork chop is named after 18th century transportation, but I’m all-aboard this piece of meat whenever I stop by the area. Another dish others recommended is the«Crystal Dumpling.» It’s like a dumpling, but the skin has the consistency of chewy boba. But good luck trying to order it. Apparently it’s too difficult to make, or whatever, so the owners pulled a McRib and made it criminally un-available. One way I get around this pickle is to call ahead and bulk-order a 5hit-ton of it. Tell them you’re catering for a party(of one), and they’ll usually make it for you. Also, some people unjustly complain about the higher prices here compared to Rowland Heights, but I would rather pay the extra dollar or two here than sit through 60-freeway traffic, then sit through the ridiculous restaurant wait times there. Rowland is also a area of high-probability you’ll run into an ex or two, so I’ll just lay low in Chino(for now).

I been coming to this place alot for lunch for few reasons. 1. Authentic Taste Taiwanese Food 2. One of the best Taiwanese food in Chino area. 3. Fast, reasonable price 4. Decent portion and fast. I am kinda having two sided opinion about their menu. I do wish they can include more items on their menus to choose from, yet I do want they to keep the same quality of food. As for their menu, I do recommend boneless chicken with ginger on top of it. It is not too greasy and lightly seasoned. Its really good especially during summer. I also recommend their pork chop rice as well, full of flavors. They need to have more soup-y items as winters are coming. I do wish this place to be successful.

The food at BD Café is okay, but as a lot of other Unilocalers mentioned, it’s a little overpriced. I had the beef noodle soup and hoped it would be the best beef noodle soup of my life because it cost $ 11, but I didn’t really like it. I felt like it was a little too sweet and the flavor reminded me a bit of BBQ sauce? I much prefer the beef noodle soup at A&J or Bull Demon. I also tried the popcorn chicken appetizer which had maybe 10 – 12 decent sized chunks for about $ 4.50. It was okay, but as a popcorn chicken aficionado, I’ve had better elsewhere. I thought the portion size was fine for everything we ordered was fine and the teeny tiny egg pudding dessert at the end was cute. I think BD Café would do better if they lowered their prices a little. Their menu is also mostly snack-type foods so maybe they should try to attract a younger, Guppy’s type crowd with cool drinks and later hours.

Yay, more Taiwanese food in Chino is always good, right? Marinated Pork Chop Rice — A bit on the salty side but it was really good and didn’t feel too greasy. The meat was soft and the side dishes felt home-cooked. The braised pork on top of the rice was nothing special, but passable. Beef Noodle Soup — A huge bowl and it came with some pickled mustard greens on the side. Broth had a bold flavor, but lacking that special something. Spicy Crystal Dumplings — like mini ba wan, the oil was very heavy on this one and the skin was quite thick. The filling had a bit of bamboo and mushroom so it was quite good. We had the Hokkaido Milk Tea and it was just ok. Definitely not as great as its counterparts in the rest of the SGV, but you can’t really find too many of these places in Chino. It is just ok for what it is but definitely not crave-worthy.

Recently opened Taiwanese restaurant next to California Noodle and Grill. They ran out of alot of the rice plates when I went there, so I just got the minced pork bowl($ 3.99). It had pieces of boiled peanuts with some seaweed, bamboo, and half an egg with the chopped pork, it was tasty. Place is clean and the girl who took my order was nice. They were playing a playlist of Lady Gaga while I was eating there. $ 20 min to use card.

What? The reviewer before me got an egg in their braised pork. I did not… Today is their grand opening, we came on our lunch hour. There was a lot of empty tables but through our stay it got packed very quickly. My poor friend, the food she wanted to order they didn’t have yet. So she had to settle for the noodle katsu, I got the braised pork(without the egg), and my other two co workers got the house special noodle. The braised pork tasted like the other braised pork. It was good actually, but the portion was just enough for me. It would be small for my husband. It came with side dishes of green beans, bamboo, and fried tofu. I tried the katsu, it wasn’t bad. I really like the breading, it was light and not too heavy like other places. My co worker ordered the house noodle special spicy, but I didn’t taste any spice at all. It was too sweet for him but I thought it had a lot of flavors. The servers are really unorganized and clearly needed a little more training. We all ordered large drinks and we ended up getting small. The server came back to ask me about my milk tea but I didn’t order the milk tea. We asked if they split checks and they said yes, but didn’t at the time when the bill came. The water cups are small tea cups. I think they could be a tad larger. It’s their opening day so I do expect hiccups. I will definitely try again much much later. I hope they work out their kinks!
