dd’s DISCOUNTS

Came in to get me some Cali clothing. With temp change being 30 degrees hotter I definitely need shorts and light shirts. The misses did her shopping and I grab couple items for little ones. The main thing I love about this place. Is that your not just getting your basic things. The stuff they sale are name brands. Adidas Nike Jordan all top labels for guys and girls for a fraction of cost. Like me I really don’t see why go to high end markets when there’s places like this with same merchandise for fraction of cost. Be smart and shop for same items for less.

Just stopped by last week to purchase a pair of work out pants and walked out feeling upset. I had grabbed two pairs one $ 7.99 and the other had no tag. I really liked the pair with no tag and even tried looking for another similar one even in different sizes just for the tag. Once I got to the register, after waiting in a long line, I explained one didn’t have a tag. The cashier said «I’ll just charge you the $ 7.99 price!» I said asked nicely if there was a way she can just double check the price in case they were cheaper, and her response while grabbing the pants roughly was «No! It wouldn’t be cheaper!» She scanned the $ 7.99 tag and threw the pants in the bag. I liked them enough to buy them regardless of the price but it was more so the principal not the cost. Mind you there were tons of pairs that were $ 5.99 too.
Although it may seem like something small, I can’t seem to forget about it which is why I had to Unilocal.It is lack of customer service that will have me thinking twice about going to that location.

I’ve never shopped here before. I went to Ross, Burlington, Target in the same shopping center. These stores are far more better than Ghetto DD’s… As soon as I walked in the door the male employee at the register shouted… Do you have a return or exchange? I said «no I bought this next door from Ross.» My bag said Ross on it. He said he needed to keep my bag while I shopped. None of the other stores did that. I’m practically being accused of stealing before I even looked at their over priced junk. It is against the law to illegally search and seizure me. What’s mine is mine. Legally a sign must be posted outside of the store that custmers read before entering and being humiliated. «All bags subject to search.» That way customers can decide to comply or not or put their belongings in their car before having to talk to a Cylon. I simply put my tiny Ross bag in my purse. «Is he going to go through my purse? NOT!» He could say nothing. They didn’t have any jewerly trees anyway. TARGET did though and I didn’t have to have some stranger check me and search me illegally to purchase it. It’s a dump. When I want to go slumming? I’ll stick with other discount dept stores. Not DD’s is it? I forgot their name already. LOL

U have good days and bad days finding things but when u fine something u have to get it now ! U can’t wait until tomorrow or payday because it want be there

great selection of men and women clothes, I love great deals they have :) I want a see more sneaker selections.

Shopping here is very hit or miss. A bad day will make you feel like you are dumpster diving. You have to search to find something quality but the price will be good if you do find it. Customer service is horrible & the store is a mess. I dropped my wallet when getting my card out to pay today & my business cards flew everywhere. The female cashier just blinked & had absolutely no empathy (must be a Cylon). There was only one woman behind me in line & she didn’t separate my merchandise from hers after ringing her up. It didn’t take me long to help myself get my things together but that kind of indifference is pretty bad. Other staff was standing there doing nothing also. You could tell that none of them wanted to be there. I won’t be back again. I should have just gone to Target. Luckily I had hand sanitizer after touching the disgusting floor.

This shopping area has been around for years. There used to be a Nordstrom Rack here. There’s quite a few stores:
Target
Party City
dd’s Discounts — like a bigger version of Dollar Tree
Two other large discount stores
Plus a whole variety of smaller stores
If you’re in the area, fine, but don’t go out of your way to come here.
