Denny’s

Well been here for an hour the waitress rushed me to order our empty drinks have been sitting on the table for 10 minutes because our waitress seems like shes avoiding our side of the room. They need to open up a location in chino hills or just get better servers because this is insaine. Will not be comming back to this location and i havent even gotten my food yet. Also when i asked for refills just now i got «there extra» what the fuck does that have to do with asking for a refill. Oh our waitresses name was kathleen A.
You need a reality check if you hate your job DONT WORK THERE! Why should i suffer when all im trying to do is take my daughter out for doing great in ballet. Thanks for ruining my day kathleen.

We came here around 7 pm. The place wasn’t full or busy at all and it took them 10 minutes to sit us alone. After then it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks and then we waited an additional hour to get our food. We asked where our food was and the waitress said it would be out in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later we were still waiting. The waitress came out and said that they were short staffed and only one cook was there which would be a great excuse if this place was busy. Only then did they begin to bring the food one by one as they were finishing. Starting with the breakfast (the easiest thing to make). I wish I can give this place another chance, however, with a slow wait time and on top of that rude, frustrated waitresses. I wish I can give this place a 0. NEVER COMING BACK HERE

DON’T COME HERE AT NIGHT!
We waited over an HOUR for our food. The place wasn’t full at all! Only 1 cook, slow as molasses and it wasn’t even 8 pm yet! I don’t know what the hell these people are doing here and management really needs to check up on their night crew!

This dennys is neither excellent nor bad. The late night servers here are very nice but the food is not as good as other ones I have been to. There’s not much to say about this dennys it’s just a simple diner with simple food but the sweetest waitresses.

Food was ok, although i felt a little rushed to get out even though I paid. I wanted to hang out with my friend honestly since I hadn’t seen him in a month.

Fuimos toda la familia 13 en total y a todos nos atendieron muy bien. La comida calientita y como la pedimos. No esperamos mucho. Riquísimo. Volvería a ir sin duda. La mesera fue muy amable y los supervisores estuvieron atentos a que no faltara nada y si estábamos bien atendidos.
The family were 13 in total and were all very good. Warm food and how to ask it. We do not expect much. Delicious. It would certainly go. The waitress was very friendly and the supervisors were attentive to not missing anything and if we were well looked after.

Wish I could give zero stars. Worst service ever! Took 15 minutes to seat us in a mostly empty restaurant, 15 more minutes to take our drink order, 10 minutes to get our drinks, 30 minutes to get our food. Will not be coming back to this location!

The service here has really gone down. The renovations look great but now if they could improve there service. The waitress, charlene, always seems to be rushing me out the door. She is constantly rude. Her service is average but there are others who are much slower than her

It’s a Denny’s for fck sake food is the same at all Denny’s I don’t complain about service always been good to me and my family as I don’t expect much from our waiter as sad as it sounds I’m always impressed as the food is so cheap. I don’t expect the same as a 4 – 5 star restaurant and no one should either it’s fckn Denny’s! Your resort for a late meal after a night out… No one should get their panties in a knot … Food is always good … Service is nice… Relax… If you want someone to pay attention to your needing or demanding butt go where the food is priced for the server to tolerate you… Always good always cheap Denny’s is my fav

This review is specifically for the veggie/​vegan options at Denny’s.
I have not eaten at Denny’s in YEARS! Not since my early days in college when Denny’s was that late night place my friends and I would hit up after an evening of drinks and dancing. My diet was also VERY different then, and I believe I frequently got their patty melt that was always sopping with grease. But I considered that a good thing back in those days. Yikes!
Once I became a vegetarian, I started eating at Denny’s less and less until I did not consider it a place I was willing to eat at anymore because my healthy diet had become a main priority for me.
However, currently I am on a road trip and the options in this particular area are limited for vegans, while I do like the experience of eating out every now and again. So I decided to go to Denny’s yesterday with my «carnivorous» father, who is willing to experiment with vegetarian/​vegan fare, to see what they had to offer. We shared the Ultimate Skillet WITHOUT the sausage, egg or cheese and added avocado. We also had a Build Your Own Burger with a whole wheat bun, the veggie patty (which is totally vegan; I checked) and a few other choice condiments.
It was actually really good — considering. Of course, it was a little on the greasy side and I think I tasted a little bacon fat, but hey, it’s Denny’s — that stuff is everywhere. My dad also enjoyed it and said he wouldn’t mind eating that meal anytime! That’s pretty impressive coming from him: he loves his meat.
So anyway, I would never eat here frequently, but everyone once doesn’t hurt and it could be a really nice «treat day» meal. Although, I really am not too into bacon fat so it would have to be on rare occasions.
If you’re someone who does not care about being a strict vegan but are looking for healthier options, I highly recommend these two items at Denny’s and you can always get veggies and/​or a salad with it as well.

Service is horrible. Been waiting 15 minutes for a water. No one else is in the restaurant and everyone is standing around. Not impressed.

Server rafael is great he is the one actually moving everything in this restaurant! But we waited more then 10 mins and no one acknowledged our presence while standing in front of the register. It got to the point we had to ask if we should sit ourselves and we get attitude in response. This place represent poor customer service will never return to this dennys.

I usually refrain myself from writing negative reviews but my experience here is an exception. First off, it took them 10 minutes to sit me and my party down when there were clearly a bunch of tables open. Second, where are the rest of the servers? There is only one waiter serving ten tables resulting in slow service. Lastly, we waited nearly 40 mins for our food to come. We were so close to leaving.

Food is good not great you may need to put some cholula on the food to Gove it that extra kick

Charlene was my server unfortunately. She said they did not carry yellow macaroni & cheese any longer only white creamy mac & cheese…
I didn’t belive her so I asked to speak with her manager he said that they carry two types of mac & cheese. Long story short we got the yellow mac & cheese. The bill was covered by the manager…

Unfortunately there’s no option for zero stars. Food was okay. Its Dennys after all. The worst service on the planet. Took over 20 mins to refill coffee. When I questioned Scott our so called waiter he became upset with me. Slammed down my coffee cup. Said he was just to busy. He later apologized. Will never return.

Love the location of this Denny’s and love their food. Service is usually good except for a waitress. Charlene or Charlena is usually quite rude. I feel like she’s just putting on a show compared to everyone else who is actually genuine when helping you. I dislike how she asked me if I was leaving a tip on my card. I would if you actually catered to us customers.

One of the worst experience ever, we waited about 30 min to get seated for a party of 4. Once we did get seated we waited about another 20 min for our drink orders and our waitress to acknowledge us. The waitress was not friendly at all, very rude! To top it off my boyfriend found hair inside his burger patty! When we told the waitress about it she asked if we wanted another burger after waiting about 45 min for our food! Of course we said no and wanted the burger compt. She said she would have to ask the manager, the manager never came out and apologized. They did comp. the burger, but this is not the first time we find a hair in our food at this location. I will not be coming back!

I know the prices are so tempting and very cheap you think we are getting the better deal, well we aren’t there is just a lower quality taste in the pancakes and you can taste it in the bacon as well.
The test for all breakfast places should be in their bacon quality you can’t really mess it up its just pure taste and it didn’t fly with me but the usual case with most Denny locations as is with this one is their slow service.
The only plus side to this location only happens to be that they remodeled the place, new seats, tables and it does make things easier on the eye. Coming here only reminds me of why I keep going to ihop.

It’s Dennys. This place is A plus when you are drunk and need a place to satisfy your hunger at 2am. You wouldn’t care about the dirty floor and tables as well as the mediocre food. During the day, it is craaaazy. Especially during breakfast. The service is always pleasant, but they always seem to take forever for that initial welcoming.
I’ll see you at 2am.

I’ve only had ONE good server here. I’m not sure what his name is but he’s very polite and makes sure we’re well taken care of…
BUT today we got a new server. Her name is Rhonda (she’s an older woman). From the minute she asked us if we were ready to order she was just so rude! Every time we asked her for something she looked annoyed. I’m sorry but I’m HUGE on customer service. If your service is bad at your restaurant I will not eat there nor will I leave a tip. Tips are earned. It makes my experience at your restaurant UNENJOYABLE.
I will start going to the Denny’s off Miliken from now on.
