Very professional and timely service. Josh is extremely knowledgable and professional.
We have been using them for years.

Worse auto service I ever got! They wrecked a number of parts under the hood like the idle. They wrecked them so badly they could not repair them. When Josh was mgr the place was great and never a problem, but when that new dude took over as mgr he was not nice at all. Had my car for a week one time, then it had to be towed back, for the idle was so bad. They had it nearly a week again. They charged my credit card. No refund offered, no send it to another place with in reason like the Mountain View Tire and Service in Upland to fix it. My car was worse off for going there! I know of a number of my friends, learned as they saw first hand from my experience, they cancel their credit cards, will not go there period even for tires The place to be needs to shut down. When you put someone’s like in jeopardy along with others on the road, you need to correct it! No act like it was my fault. I am not a mechanic! Guess being a woman, they saw easy target. Nope I am smarter than that! Only reason they have a service place is due to the name Goodyear, they should be out of business.

The only reason I am giving one star is because Josh was amazing to me in the couple of emergency instances I have had, however, I will never use them again. My car over heated and due to that I was told there was internal engine damage thay would cost me $ 6000 to repair and my radiator would be $ 900. They started to run a credit application for me and in the middle of it, I wanted to check with my regular mechanic. (Keep in mind, I took it here because it was an emergency) my regular mechanic told me to have it towed to him because it didn’t sound right, I did. My engine was fine, my radiator cost near $ 300. I complained to the GM, the division GM and was told they would look into it and was promised 2 free tires for the inconvenience. Did he ever call me back? No. Did I ever get the tires? No. Very unfortunate, I hope others have a better experience as I started out with, but needed to share my experience.

I’ve been pretty steady in taking my vehicle to this shop for service. Every time, they took care of the service and provided me feedback on recommendations for the car with advantages and disadvantages. There was one occasion, though, in which my vehicle became problematic a a few days after service so I took it back and they ultimately took care of me and apologized for the inconvenience. Look for Josh as he is a great guy to work with. Thank you.

My overall experience here was a good one. The employees have a good attitude and do everything in their power to make sure they get you the best deal. Actually beat all others on tire prices because of a sale they were having.
The only real down side and the reason this wasn’t a five star visit is because it took forever.

This place is crooked! I took my wifes car in to have the tires rotated and an oil change done. I get a call telling me that there was motor oil in the break system and that the break system was going to fail, and that the repairs where well in excess of $ 2,000! So I picked up the car, and took it to two different mechanics, as well as the dealer and had the system checked and fluid tested. And guess what… the car is fine! Both mechanics as well as the dealer all said that there where no problems with the break system and the fluid tested fine with no traces of any contaminants at all.
Sounds to me like they had a slow day (my car was the only car there) and they needed a big sale to get their daily numbers.
Fast forward to 3 months later and my car is fine. I will never go there again, nor tell any one to.

spoke with a representative and at no cost he was willing to fill my tires. i am a customer here but for them to go above and beyond at not cost and smiling the entire time puts them above the rest. thank you guys, my car also says hello and see you in 3000 miles.

Waited twice the time I was told. Tires aren’t that cheap. They tell you that they do a free inspection of your whole vehicle with the tire service and alignment… the guy told me since it was late they decided not to do one.
I bought two generic 14″ tires and an alignment and spent $ 225. With the place completely empty, I waited 2.5 hours to get two tires installed and an alignment. This seems to be standard protocol in most tire places. The only good thing about this place is the free tire rotation provided with tire purchase… but that will probably take some time for them too, lol…

Ask for tire for my truck, they said they didn’t have on stock but would get it in an hour for $ 250 dollars, I was desperate so I decided to go and get the deal done. Two hours past, I called and said his driver was MiA and didn’t have a cell phone (hard to believe). I was going to get lunch and I be waiting for call. No call so I decided to stop and pay him a visit. Driver had arrived with no tire and said he totally forgot and and he was busy. Three hours waisted of my life and pretty pisses off. Decided to go to American tires of central between Francis and Philadelphia next to petco… same tire for $ 175 installed and awesome customer service. don’t waste your time here at this shop… no wonder it’s so lonely every time I pass at this shop.

Josh at Mt. View tire always takes care of me ever time I come in. He is honest and trustworthy and their prices are always good! I recommend taking your car there!

A very honest and trustworthy shop. Many repair facilities will take advantage of a girl’s lack of automotive knowledge, but not this facility. The repairs will be done quickly and as inexpensive as they can be.

I have for a long time taken my cars to Mt. View and have been a happy customer. I recently had some major work done on a car and it was never right. I have to say they tried there best to resolve the issue with no avail. Josh contacted the District Manager since I was not a «happy customer» and was offered a full credit of the amount for future work (oil changes, tires etc.). They tried to make a wrong a right and I was satisfied with that! I will take my car there again. This is what I call customer service which is very rare in today’s world!

UPDATE: After posting I was contacted by Mountain View Tire and they offered a refund for the balance. I am still out $ 160 for a balance that I didn’t need before I took it to their shop. But at least they did the right thing.
