This was my favorite coffee shop to study at while I still lived in Chippewa Falls. Though the coffee is just great, the staff were my favorite part of visiting. They were always so kind and friendly, as I would sit with my coffee for hours on end writing papers. Such a great place to hang out and chat!

I ordered triple mocha cappuccino … Requested it to be on the hotter side… Thanks… It was hot… But … Tasted like dirty water without the mocha. Disappointed… When I said I couldn’t taste the chocolate she said…” Stir it up”… I did… Still no chocolate. I didn’t get the feeling it was ok to ask that it be made they way I like it so I left and won’t be back. I will admit that I am extra particular about my coffee… That’s why I don’t go to McDonalds but in this case maybe I should have.

Since I work online, having a place away from home where I can enjoy a spot of tea and work through the wifi is important to me — this coffee shop is a comfortable and fun place I can get away too when I’m tired of looking at my own 4 walls. Their Chai Latte is WAY too good! :)

Excellent coffee, pastry and ambience. Parking lot available. This is one of those places you love to discover, whether you’re looking for an alternative to Starbucks or just want to support local businesses. A gem. Go here!

Best Coffee in the Chippewa Valley(Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Altoona, Hallie. It is called the 4:30 because that is what time they get in to start baking. No opening boxes and thawing or reheating like at so many places — this is all scratch baked. Coffee is not roasted on site, but it is still the best coffee in the valley. Lunch is good also. Not a ton of choices but again, all scratch made, including the bread and soups. I come here usually once per week for either breakfast or lunch. I am never disappointed when I eat at this locally owned coffee house. Free internet — no glitches or crazy sign ins required.
