If anyone has had any contact with the owner, please contact me. The owner owes me $ 12,000 for a wedding that never happened and he kept my pre-paid money! The venue is up for auction in March 3rd and I am trying desperately to get my money back! Haven’t heard from him since September! Please help!

We had a reservation and received confirmation emails, but there was no-one there when we arrived! We only found a note saying to call DJ and some mouse-eaten cookies on a plate in the entrance. DJ didn’t answer his phone and we ended up in the Econolodge. Imagine our surprise to receive this email two days later: «We really enjoyed having you stay with us. We know you have many choices when making your getaway decisions. We thank you for choosing The Brass Heart Inn. Feel free to share with us and future guests what you enjoyed most about your stay».

Such a sweet charming Inn, perfect for a family reunion or wedding. We were there for a wedding of a friend. They rented out the entire Inn, and put their friends and family in the Cabins and in the Inn itself. We were in the Inn, in the Orchard Room. It’s a sweet little room. Double Bed, sitting couch, and a bathroom, with a vanity mirror. The room has air conditioning, which we didn’t need. The temperature dropped at night into the 50s. the cabins are very nice as well. Some are more rustic than others. Whippoorwill is pretty rustic with a famers porch and a sweet little swing. It’s great to be the«party» cabin. It can sleep 8 – 10 people(I believe). The bonfire on Friday night is a lot of fun, but maybe pack some chairs in case of rain. The logs and benches got a bit wet. things to pack? Music? A book? This place is relaxing. My favorite thing to do was sit on the porch of the Inn and reading. it’s a sweet Inn, with a great hard working staff!

Boy can they hold a party. The Barn is a blast from the past, rich in history and ambiance. The Innkeepers and the Staff go out of their way to make your stay exceptional.

Ok– step one, don’t ask me how to pronounce the town it’s in. Chocorua? You’re on your own. Anyway. I love the Brass Heart Inn. It’s a typical new england blend of restored farm or estate houses with great event barns and then spots to stay in and around both of these. The Brass Heart does it with flare. They have all the aforementioned plus little cottages around the perimeter of the property. It’s pretty neat. I shot my 7.7.07 wedding there and the weather was so off and on. It ended up being drizzley and at the last minute the ceremony was brought into the barn. The staff showed amazing efficiency in getting everything transitioned smoothly so that the ceremony could be inside. I don’t think most of the guests even knew about the switch, they were guided directly to the right spot. The staff was great at managing all of the guests– with two floors of seating and a plated meal, I think it’s probably a task but the servers were up and down the steps with their huge trays like food fairies. It’s also an incredibly scenic spot for photos.
