We like going to Doody’s Diner for several reasons. Good food, nice relaxed atmosphere, a short drive (12 – 14 miles), and adequate friendly service. Doody’s is well know for their Catfish and Burgers. They sell aged Rib Eye steaks, but I have not tried them. Their Catfish is always cooked fresh. The side Salads are the perfect Diner type Salad. They have French Fries that are a nice cut. Mot like the fast food variety. Nice Tomato pieces cut small, with tasty dressing’s. The Burgers are truly a crowd pleaser. The Ice Tea is sure to please to wash it all down. We have never been disappointed. The price is fair in relationship to the food and service and the area.
