I’m surprised the people working here could warm up a croissant. We ordered a hot green tea, a skinny vanilla latte and a iced white mocha. We got a green tea latte, a whole milk vanilla latte and a regular mocha, not white chocolate mocha. Great job training your staff

I’m a corporate sucker, I love this place. They have the best coffee and my personal favorite the green tea latte. I’m so effing addicted.

Hands down the worst Starbucks in CA maybe even the U.S.A. Waited in a huge line to get over charged and have my drink made incorrectly. When I said something the barista came to the window to argue with me. The manager then remade my drink filling it so full it overflowed all over me and my husband. Thank you so much for the horrendous customer service. We will never be back! Do yourself a favor and find a different Starbucks to go to.

I should have known when I saw two cars back out and flee the drive-thru, something was way off. First of all, I ordered the easiest thing on the menu– coffee. The coffee was immediately poured but sat on the back counter while we patiently waited for the barista to put a plastic lid on and hand it over. Behind the counter was pure chaos; I’m not sure why. When I did finally get my coffee ten minutes later, the coffee was luke warm and by this time I was too agitated to say anything. Bottom line, come here and expect to wait thirty minutes for a Luke warm coffee… And God forbid you ask for milk! My two cents: the manager here stinks. The employees look so stressed and not managed, resulting poor service.

Im not a big Starbucks fan but this one is awesome. They always get my order right and they provide great customer service but what is most amazing is that they also support the community. They are involved locally in community events and support the Chowchilla Relay for Life. I believe in supporting those businesses that give back locally to the community.

Came in here on the drive from Sacramento to LA on a super hot day and really only wanted a black iced tea. The barista, Vince, sounded genuinely sad and told me that he didn’t have any black iced tea. I told him that I didn’t want anything and proceeded to let my mom order her caramel macchiato. He felt really bad so he asked me if I wanted an iced coffee on the house. I was really moved by this offer and felt I needed to write a good review for this Starbucks because of VINCE. He embodied the idea of great service so if he sees this, keep doing what you’re doing, man!

No idea why this Starbucks can’t put a little money into their interior. It’s clearly a drive through and run kind of place, but in a town with no other café or similar space, come on. Every other town has a decent starbucks to go to. Instead, there is a clearly profitable drive-through with a completely lousy café space. Uncomfortable, old furniture, inside and out. Loud fan over the door. Bad speakers that are used to drive people nuts during busy times. If it was just your average starbucks, it’d be miles better. Come on owners. Can’t blame the employees… they’re busy and do a good job.

Was passing through when my 2 year old said he needed to use the restroom. Restrooms were clean. I decided to order something for the ride home. After standing at the counter for a few seconds a girl came to the register. I started to order when I was interrupted by the girl yelling to someone in the backroom. When she finished her conversation she asked what she could get me. I was offended that she cut me off. Focus on the customer then have your conversation.

Stopped here to get a Christmas Eve pick me up and left empty dirty handed. Used the restroom and found that neither the men’s or women’s restrooms had any soap to wash our hands. We alerted an employee that both restrooms did. It have any soap and her response was«ok». She just kept on working, ran back behind the bar and continued making drinks. We waited about five minutes for help and then left. We didn’t even follow through with getting anything to drink because at this point considering the fact that the employees obviously are not washing their hands either really bothered and grossed us out. Eeeew!

This is a go-to place for me in the morning, but I was in the neighborhood at night in need of a pick-me-up. The girl ringing me up called back my order wrong more than once. That was a red flag. I ordered a soy green tea latte with 6 scoops of matcha, no classic syrup, and 2 pumps of peppermint. She forgot the soy, but I didn’t know this until I got to where I was going, as the drink was too hot to try, and it was dark on my car. I also asked for a water with no ice in my personal cup. There was ice. Ice takes effort! What was she doing?! I recognized her from the morning crew(the reddish hair and glasses were unmistakable), so maybe she was out of her element, but customers can get sick! Even my destination was dark, so I had taken many sips before getting to a well-lit place. I suspected the drink was off, but I couldn’t check. I had to throw the rest away, so it wouldn’t get me even more sick than it was going to.

When in Chowchilla, this is where I get my Starbucks. Friendly service and an accurate order at the Drive Through. That’s all I ask.

Jumped off 99 for a caffeine fix and a bite to eat and to feed the rental car. Conveniently located with easy on and off access from 99. The staff was friendly and it wasn’t busy after we arrived it got much busier as we sipped our drink and ate our breakfast sandwiches. The drinks were great but both our sandwiches were made wrong but they were made good so we settled and enjoyed them. The line was too long to challenge the service provider.

Four stars for coffee and service, but minus one star for the over priced and gross cheesecake/brownie. As always, a dirty seating area with an annoying fan above the door that goes on every time the door is open to keep the flies out

This is pretty much the only coffee place in Chowchilla. It is off the 99, has A/C, clean restrooms, and the drinks, as any other Starbucks in the country, are ok. I am not a big fan of Starbucks coffee drinks but being the only one in this town, I give it four stars.

Hello Chowchilla! I might end up here someday if the bf keeps pissin’ me off and I hit him over the head with a… um…I digress. This Starbucks is right off the 99 — you can’t miss it. It’s a very standard Starbucks setup, complete with a drive thru. The bathrooms are clean, the baristas are pleasant, and they haven’t screwed up my order yet! Yes, this Starbucks is located in an avenue of franchise mediocrity(Chevron, McD, Carl’s Jr, etc.) but, it’s a freakin’ oasis during a 300 mile drive down the 99. Some of these areas look like they haven’t changed much since the Great Depression.
