This place is awesome. The food is so fresh and tasty and the service is great. This is my new fave place in Eastlake! And you know they really appreciate your business — so friendly and helpful! This is a great place!

After being disappointed with the long wait at the phở restaurant a few doors down, we decided to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! Very clean, food was yummy and the customer service was excellent. They came by after we were finished to make sure everything was good and gave us extra fortune cookies :) I even left my purse behind and the nice lady(owner?) chased me outside to bring it to me! We will definitely be back!

I chose to add all the sauces to the foods before adding to the grill. I’m not sure what the taste is like without all, but I bet it’s still good. Thinly sliced meats consist of chicken, chicken breast, beef, pork, and lamb. I’m a carnivore and added all, but pork. I’m satisfied and think you will be too.

Fresh veggies. Tender meat. What more could you ask for? What’s that, you want something with no MSG? Done deal! This staff makes a mean bowl of BBQ!

This place is only going to be as good as what you choose to get. It’s healthy and delicious and the mom and pop that own it are the most adorable and polite people you will ever encounter around this hood. I love going here, although I wish they had a better drink selection. Beer maybe?

This is my second time here. I love the food ! This place is immaculate! You could probably eat off the floor. The owner’s are very sweet. The veggies are very fresh. Will definitely be back.

They talk about cross contamination. That is a problem but not if your only touching your food. The service even posted is inexcusable. If your going to tell a customer not to do something then not say the same thing to another customer doing the same thats discriminating.

Came here after going to Trader Joe’s and found it to be very good. My wife enjoyed being able to get all the veggies she wanted while I had some meats and veggies with the noodles. The lady was very pleasant, I would recommend!

Great Thai food here. My kids enjoy watching the fish while we wait. The service is a tad slow but worth the wait. I normally sneak over for Thai food while my family is getting burritos. Parking can be tricky in the evening.

Ordered a chicken teriyaki for my 2yo. I told the lady that I wanted white rice and she scolds me and tells me that brown rice is better. Healthier. I told her than I understand that but my son wants white rice. Then she says«oh, specially for baby. Much healthier. I give him brown» No thank you. My son prefers white rice. He doesn’t like the texture of brown rice. This whole conversation was not necessary. I don’t need to be lectured on what I should be ordering. We got our food and the«teriyaki» chicken was pan fried instead of grilled Definitely will not be coming back.

This is one of my favorite spots when craving noodles. Instead of ordering from a Chinese place and feeling extremely guilty afterward, I’ll dine here. First, their ingredients are extremely fresh! You grab a bowl and start to pile your choice of veggies and meats. At the end, you give your bowl to the cook and he’ll ask what types of sauces you’d like. I asked what I should get, and he suggested everything! I let him do the pouring, and sure enough he put a little bit of everything! Second, prices are reasonable. I think my bowl of noodles came out to about $ 8. Third, the owners are really sweet people. I love to support my local mom and pop shops, especially when they know how to deliver good service.

This place is the absolute best when it comes to great food and customer service. The people that work there are lovely. As a vegetarian they were super understanding about telling me exactly what they put in the noodles and have a specific vegetarian options. They make everything to order and right in front of you so it takes a little more time, especially if they are crowded, but it’s well worth it for the hot fresh deliciousness. This place is also ands down my favorite place to go after a workout or a long day because the noodles are so filling and tastes but not going to leave you feeling gross or too full.

Love this place. Great noodles and veggies. lol and pop spots are always the best. I’ve inly had the traditional build your own noodles plate which have been fantastic. Plenty of food for the average person. Friendly owners and in a great location.

This was my first Mongolian BBQ experience and definitely will not be my last!!! They had a great selection of meats and fresh veggies. I ended up trying mine with all the sauces available and extra garlic. AMAZING! and for the amount of food you get the price is cheap! Big enough portions to feed two people– otherwise expect to have left overs +the owners are super sweet

Came here after seeing all the reviews for this place. So I brought my best friend in tow with me. You pay first and you get a bowl. Then you make your way to the area with all the fixins. The owners are sticklers when it comes to the meat cooler. So please do as it says. Do not lift the whole door up to get the meat. You have to turn the knobs on the left and right side of the cooler. They have an arrangement of vegetables that you can add into your bowl. I was slightly disappointed to see that there was no water chestnuts or GASP… no baby corn? NOBABYCORN?! Have we all not watched the movie big with Tom Hanks in which he eats the baby corn? I love baby corn and water chestnuts. The sauces were delicious and I liked the sesame seeds on top of the noodles, that was a nice touch. So basically, I took a star off because 2 of my favorite veggies were not in attendance. Every Mongolian bbq place I have ever gone has had those 2 items. Go ahead and judge me. I live far away from this place. About 40 miles. I will be back. To say I would come here again, says a lot. That being said, bring the baby corn and water chestnuts and I’ll bump that baby to 5 stars!!!

Honestly, whenever I would be in the area, I thought this was a Chinese restaurant. That’s because I never looked inside and I didn’t know anything about it. Then, a few days ago, I was browsing Unilocal and realized this place was Mongolian BBQ. I love Mongolian BBQ! So, of course, I had to check it out. Bamboo Bistro is such a great addition to Eastlake(even though I guess it has been open for years now!) Not only is it convenient for me because I don’t have to drive to Plaza Bonita for some Mongolian BBQ, but it is in a great shopping center/plaza. The way it works is you go to the register to pay first. There is Mongolian BBQ noodles, but there is also an option for rice, or just a chicken bowl. For vegetarians, there are options for you, as well! After you pay, you personally get your meat and vegetables. I suggest piling it up high – especially the meat – because it shrinks when it gets cooked(just like Korean BBQ.) After you fill up your bowl, the worker adds whatever sauce(s) you want, then they add noodles and cook it! You can even get sesame seeds added to it. Their sauces contain no MSG! Everything tastes so good here. It’s very flavorful, and I am going to come here more often. The person working was an older woman. I’ve read that her and her husband own this place, but I only saw her. She is the sweetest woman ever… I want to hug her. She never fails to smile, and was so happy and proud talking to me about the restaurant/the food.

I always come here with my daughter because we both love mongolian bbq. The couple who I believe are Koreans are very friendly. When we came in she said we haven’t been there in awhile. And I was surprised that she knows. I am giving it 5 stars because the place is very clean and relaxing. It’s homey and very quiet. It’s a buffet style. You just have to stack youe bowl with different kinds of thinly sliced meat. Lmb, pork, turkey, chicken and beef. And pick your choice of vegetables. I love cilantro, cabbage, tofu, and broccoli, and all of the seasonings. I prefer mine spicy, and it will really satisfy your cravings for Mongolian bbq. I strongly recommend this place. For $ 8 what else could you ask for.

BEST.MONGOLIAN.NOODLES.EVER. Idk what the other reviews say but Plaza Bonita’s noodles can’t compare to this. This place has the best customer service with the husband & wife and sometimes their daughter helps too. They’re the sweetest people I’ve ever met! This place is also located in Eastlake and everything surrounding this little gem is nice! There is outdoor seating, Coy fishes and turtles swimming! You got other restaraunts and stores to too. Basically a mini mall strip. Pack your bowl, you choose any meats, veggies and sauces and they cook it in front of you. If you don’t want noodles they also have rice bowls! Now that I moved back to San Diego I will be going here more often again, I told the lady owner thst they’re the best in town and so sweet! Also it’s affordable $
