Banana Republic

I don’t usually come to this store, but since I was close by and had a shirt I purchased over the weekend at Fashion Valley, I decided to see if I could exchange it for a bigger size. Some girl came out almost instantly as I stepped through the door and stopped me there and asked me if I was exchanging and when I had purchased the item. I could already tell she was annoyed I walked into the store with a bag, she wasn’t greeting me, it felt like she was trying to get rid of me before she even knew what I wanted. I showed her my shirt and the receipt and she told me that I couldn’t return or exchange the item because it was on sale. Ok, fair enough I said. She folded my shirt, put it in the bag and pretty much sent me out the door. She also said that their store made it really obvious that sale items couldn’t get returned (With attitudes like that, I bet!)
The way she treated me since I walked into the store was rude and she didn’t even made me feel welcomed. I was also going with intentions of purchasing a few more things, but never mind! This associate needs to learn a little bit more about customer service skills. I work in a very busy customer service environment and help hundreds of people in a daily basis, her skills are some of the worst I have seen. Where did she learn her customer service skills, at the DMV? This store could have earned my money today, but they lost it because of her attitude. The exchange was not the primary focus of my visit, I wanted to purchase more items and I was going to even if I could not exchange my shirt. I won’t be coming back to this particular store.

I love this place. Great fitting clothing, relatively decent priced. Good quality and very helpful staff.
I’m in here at least once a week.

I love Banana Republic. I just love their clothing selections and I love how their employees take care of their customers.

My daughter love to shop here so am I. I love their selections from shorts to dresses. I super love the skirts. You can come shopping here everyday. The staff are very friendly and always have a helping hand. They assist you to the fitting room and ask you if you need another size and will get it for you. It’s so relaxing here. Me and my daughter keep coming back. And always have a smile upon leaving the store because you are satisfied with what you bought.
I will surely recommend.

Like an old friend that’s always there for me. Banana Republic always has something for me no matter when I return. Although the people change, the clothes always have that same great fit.

I like shopping at banana republic, there style is just the way I like to dress. My favorite season is winter clothing they have the best coats and sweaters, the cashmere is so comfortable when worn. I like the belts and colognes

I am currently in love with their selections, from the sheath dresses, cardigans, to their sandals and belts… I can’t get enough so I wait around like a hawk until they have their 40% off entire store sale promotion!
Side note: if you’re ordering online and wait until the promo deadline to use the current coupon code, the promo ends at 9 pm because BR online promo goes by eastern time. I’ve had the prices on my basket change because of this which is a pain. However, if you have some time, BR customer service can honor the sale price and code for you.

I had no idea about this BR store but when I walked in everything was nice lots to choose from not busy at all, only 4 people working, I was greeted and they were having a sale everything was fine but they weren’t being so friendly or helpful I’m thinking they thought I wasn’t going to buy anything because of how I was dressed but I left with a bag full of things. The cashier was friendly. I’d give this place another chance tho.

I was a visitor from the Bay Area and this BR was the closest shopping center where my brother lives. During my last day of my visit, my sister-​in-​law drove me to this shopping center and decided to look around.
When you come in, there is not a whole of shoppers in this area, which is good by the way cuz I get more selections. I came in and shelves where stocked and fully organized. They have a variety of selections and my favorite aile is the sales side. At the time of my visit, they had the 40% discount on all items and I was having a hard time choosing what I really need becuase there were a few items that I liked (my luggage was already full so I did not want more clothes… hahaha).
As soon as I was ready to check out, I was helped out though I did not catch his name, he was friendly and helpful. One thing that stands out for me was that the cashier had asked me if I was a student or military because is an extra discount! Ding ding ding!!!

BTW, I did not give the extra star because I wasn’t attended to when I was looking around.

I love the BR line. I’ve been a customer for years. This location has one of my favorite staffers, Carla. She has always delivered great customer service and always seems to be in a good mood. They had a manager here a year ago who made me want to shred my BR card, Carla was the only reason I didn’t. This may be a smaller store, but that just means more attention and better chances that they will have your size on hand.

Yeah. I usually don’t write a review for these chain stores, but there’s an exception to everything!
So since I’ve been working in a hospital, my wardrobe was consistent with solid colored scrubs on the weekdays. Now that I’ve got a promotion (thank you very much!) and working under a CEO, scrubs isn’t entirely one too acceptable in my new workplace.
Bf dragged me here to find some inexpensive work place clothes that are actually appropriate to work in. Not any of my «bougie» weekend attire, or so he puts it. On the other hand, I didn’t want to dress like my grandma, so I’m still picky about my new work wardrobe. I didn’t like Express cause their material seems cheap, so this place is right in the middle.
Lauren (I remembered her name. Go figure) & Hugo helped me with their expertise in finding not only clothes that fit me in the petite section, but also threw in a sweater for my grandpa’s birthday & a gift card for my indecisive father. That purchase earned me $ 50 in dollars to use in the future! Heck yeah. People here are nice. The prices are reasonable, and their sale section rocks.

Oh hey it’s another Banana Republic– just like every other BR in the world. The sale room was well stocked, and they had alot of stuff on sale that paid full price for at the Horton Plaza store a month or two ago. Seems like this would be a good place to pick up the BR on the cheap. Would I ever pay full price for an article of clothing at BR? No.

pros… just like every other br in the world. but it’s in otay ranch bonsai mall. small, but i guess pretty well stocked inside. still new and shinny and clean. customer service is always good at br. i am cheap so i always go to the back of the store to look at the sale items first and then look around the store. of course i rarely buy anything here, unless it’s from the sale rack.
cons…just a basic slam on the whole otay ranch mall, stores are too small. they are like little miniature stores. but then the whole mall is like this so it isn’t too bad.

The place is clean and very organized, the staff is there to help you, especially when the jeans you want are on a high shelf and you’re too short to reach it.
They have plenty of things on sale, if you don’t want to splurge on $ 130 jeans look for the orange signs that say «SALE»
Great work clothes and for any casual outting.
