Excellent food, very tasty, not too hot for a white girl! We’ve ordered a number of house recommendations! Try them, they are fabulous!

This place was alright. I really enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp and the seafood taco my babe ordered but that was really the highlight of my experience. The food took a bit long to come out. I guess it’s more of a place you would go to hang out with the guys, have a few drinks and watch the game. They close at 8 on weekdays and at 10 on Friday and Saturday. The service was lacking even though there were only three parties there the afternoon we came in. We didn’t see much of them after We got our food unless we called for them. We had to call several times. When it was time for the bill, gave us one for another table. Items listed were like 12 shots, some beer and food. We obviously didn’t take any shots so we told the lady and she came out way later with another bill that still wasn’t for us! It was so obvious because she can clearly see from what was on the table that it didn’t match the bill. Third time was a charm I guess but it still took a while to get the heck out.

When I look for a place to eat I look for great food and a good ambiance, this place has both! As you come in you notice that it has a nice soccer sports theme that looks like you’re in the Tijuana’s «Xolos» soccer team stadium, the floor being a nice green colored soccer field design and the walls wrapped around with pictures of cheering fans. The young ladies were very friendly as a couple of them greeted me as I entered. The music wasn’t too loud and the type added a nice touch to the theme. The menu was big but organized, which is important to me if it’s going to be a big menu. I was a bit hungry that day so I was glad they immediately brought me Chips and Salsa(red and green). To start I ordered a Shrimp Cocktail and a Fish«Tostada de Ceviche». The Cocktail was great, it had lots of shrimp and I can tell the shrimp was fresh, it also had a great flavor that didn’t need too much hot sauce and condiments. The Tostada was very good and juicy and not soggy at all, you can even eat it with a fork as it was very well served. Since that was good, I wanted to try the fish taco but had their«Birria de Res Taco» that came with a side of chopped cilantro and white onions that you can add to the taco if desired. The taco was huge and loved the smoky Birria flavor of the meat. To drink I had a one of their many imported Mexican beer, they are known for their«Micheladas» and Clamato mixed drinks but if you prefer they have a great selection of domestic beer and some wine. At this point I was getting full but really wanted to try their main entrees like their bacon wrapped shrimp entrée or the whole char-broiled fish plate«Pescado Zarandeado». I will absolutely be coming back for that!!! All-in-all, I was completely impressed with the food, portions and the place. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Thanks.

Never coming back. Service sucked. They forget your orders. And to top it off they take forever to bring your food. Food was whatevers. Not a fan. And i LOVE seafood but this just isnt it for me. The prices are bit too much and the food just looks so plain. Fish tacos were not the business. And who knows bout the rest of the food cus i never got mine & they still added it to my bill. Had to tell them they forgot to bring my food. How sad. They left a bad taste in my mouth. Food wise & service wise.

My son and daughter-in-law were in town visiting and she is from the Dominican Republic so when we saw the sign for Mariscos at this restaurant, that was her first choice on where to get lunch. I ordered the Campechana and asked if I could have it with just pulpo and shrimp. Our waitress Carolina said«Sure, no problem!» It was so perfectly prepared! Just the right ratio of cucumbers, octopus and shrimp! I ate it so fast, I didn’t take a picture of it! DIL ordered the Salmon and my son ordered the Shrimp Enchiladas. I tried both of them and don’t know which I’ll order next time, because they were both also excellent. They make corn tortillas by hand which are to die for. So much better than machine-made. I hope they never change this. The beans were also very flavorful and tasty. My visitors were thoroughly happy with their dishes and I know they will want to come back here when they visit again. Thanks Carolina for the most efficient and excellent service. Thanks Sergio for your help to jump in and take our payment of the bill.

Came here with the fam bam and enjoyed the sports environment with some alright food. The birria tacos is something on the menu I wouldn’t recommend but would be a good restaurant to bring your bros on game night.

I am rating the fish tacos. They are great!!! made on handmade tortillas they came out promptly and were perfectly executed. Everything was fresh, the service was friend ly and quick. Two salsas were served with chips; the green is delicious and kind of medium heat, the red was pretty hot. Not for rookies. Sports décor is obviously for those that love futbol and the Xolos team. Had a great lunch and plan on going back.

Sports theme décor with a couple of small TVs seems like a big fail walking in. If you want to go for the sports crowd, gotta step up the TV game. I could care less about sports, but I do whole heartly care about seafood and that’s what got me in the door. Cool menu but could be consolidated. I love all seafood and had a hard time making up my mind. Go with my recent infactuation of cocos and get the coco loco. Salsa was OK, chips were old and stale. Coco was pretty good. Perfect ratio of clamato, coconut water, meat and seafood. Seafood could be stepped up a little better for the price. Bummer they don’t give you the coconut water from the coconut. Michalada was good and basic. All in all, good place for the area, but don’t go out of your way with so many other great options available.

Cocktail had no flavor my wife’s fish was undercooked. Sticky menu’s and sticky tables. No AC doors were open which meant flies were around.

Nice clean place that serves big portions. These aren’t your ordinary chingadera tacos. These are Marisco tacos on steroids. The hand made tortillas they use are so delicious that I couldn’t decide what I liked more from the taco, the tortilla or the Mariscos. Definitely a must try if you like Mariscos, tacos and mexican dishes.

Excelente comida, no pense que en un lugar pudieran vender muy rica birria y ademas mariscos tipo sinaloa. Las micheladas lo mejor! Altamente recomendable.

I was getting my car serviced next door and needed lunch. The shop recommended this place and strolled my way here. I think they have worked out their kinks because the service was on point and the Birria tacos were great!!!

Shrimp cocktail had very little flavor, she’ll left on some of the shrimp. Fish tacos were not good either, tail left on before bartering and frying. The Clamato chavela was good and only $ 7.00, The service could have been better, took 5 mins for menus. Once the food came out our server was taking our drinks to every table to see if was theirs, same thing happened with our food. pros: Set up, lots of tv’s Beer is decently priced Cons: Food Service

Me and my hubby were looking for a Mariscos restaurant and found Birrierias and Menuderia Toro. Seems like a nice clean place with plenty of parking space… We ordered a mango margarita and a beer. We ate a shrimp tostada and a koqueta tostada. Thumbs up on drinks and food. We didn’t have to wait too long since we were the only ones on a Tuesday evening. The waitress was very nice and helpful. One thing… I forgot to ask for cooked shrimp and no mayonnaise and neither the waitress asked :(

Been here a few times here now. The Birria is amongst the best I’ve have had mind you my wife’s fam is from Jalisco. The seafood is good too I’ve had the shrimp cocktail that was pretty good shrimp where al dente and flavor was good. As far as service I would give that girl ten stars for running the whole floor by her self no help from the useless older lady lingering around.

Place looked like it might have some potential… The food was good not great, and the service was terrible. Came here Thursday 4÷2÷15 at around 1:30pm. Got told to seat anywhere. Then waited 10min for menus. Finally got our orders in then the food took 20nin to come. For tacos… In an empty restaurant. My wives tostadas took 30min. FORCEVICHE… Just terrible service. Go down the street to la cacho. Better value and service.

Aw man I really wanted to give this place a great review. Especially when one of my friends told me it was amazing. Sadly it sorta felt me let down. We came on a Saturday evening and found some good seating. I was excited to try some of their birria, but we ended up ordering almost the entire it menu! The waitress(whom most of this review is reflected on for the most part) ended up coming by after almost 10 minutes. She brought our water and ran away for another 5 minutes. We finally ended up ordering. Food break down; Chivo birria — Came warm(oh come on people, you need to serve birria HOT!). I had to ended up having them re-heat the dish. The flavor and meat were decent. Nothing to write grandma home to. Queso fundido — Again came warm, some of the cheese was still whole. I should have have them re-heat the damn thing. Again was decent, but not good. FIsh tacos — I would probably them at 3⁄5 stars just like the review. They lacked a little flavor. Shrimp enchilados — No way, wasn’t what I was expecting. I’ve had shrimp enchilados and this come no where near it. The flavor and spice were lackin! Tacos de pargo — It seems that everything I had was mediocre, and this was another one. Xolos taco — Wasn’t bad, I might order it again(if I come back). Here’s the kicker, the food was MAYBE3 ½ stars but the service was probably 1 star. The girl didn’t have common sense and kept taking forever in between service requests. The only thing that would probably bring me back is the setup on the inside. It’s epic, they have xolos stuff everywhere and the inside looks like an actual stadium. The place looks ok, the food was alright, but the service lacked. WARMUPYOURFOODANDSMELLTHEROSES!

We may have come on an off day? We drove 30 miles to come here. I will say that we will give it another try. The pros: –red and green salsa are spicy and flavorful –Birria tacos were amazing –fish tacos were not greasy and very good –home made tortillas –michelada are a good size –cool environment –lots of TV’s –friendly staff –clean place Cons: –there were only 2 people working the floor on a Saturday during lunch –orders all came out at different times –there was confusion on what they had brought us and what they hadn’t. This meant duplicate items on our table –we wanted to order something we saw on their website/yelp page and we showed a photo. They said that’s an off menu item, they took my phone, showed the cooks, item never came. –agua chiles were not spicy –other items ordered never came Again, this could be due to staffing. We’ll be back to try the menudo and have more birria. Maybe it will be better staffed and we’ll have more luck next time.

I saw this place as I was driving by and decided to check it out. I decided to try the fish tacos which were only 99 cents each and the birria tacos. There was only one waitress and about 5 tables but the waitress was very good. She was friendly and quick and managed all the tables just fine. The birria tacos were very good. The birria was very flavorful and they serve them with onion and cilantro on the side so you can put it in the taco if you’d like. I asked for salsa and a red salsa they gave me was super spicy. They could crisp the tortilla up a bit to make them even better. The fish tacos unfortunately not as great but not terrible either. The batter was not as flavorful as I have tasted with other fish tacos and the cream they put on it lacked flavor and was a bit runny. Then again not bad for 99 cents lol. I will definitely be coming back based on the birria alone. One of the girls mentioned they have live music Friday-Sunday and happy hour everyday. Give the birria a try if you’re in the area.
