Lifetime Custom Painting

A few years ago, my mom had her entire fence, which is on 3 sides of the house, by Lifetime Custom Painting. I recall that she was very satisfied with the job. I am now living on the property and am going through the process of buying the house. Since it will be an FHA loan, there are VERY strict requirements. When the appraiser came he made note in his report of a few spots of paint chipping on the fence. In addition, the patio cover had a lot of termite damage and the paint (NOT done by Lifetime) was peeling horribly. I called the owner, Luis, who came over to assess the situation.
Without hesitation, he honored his 10-​year warranty, and repainted the ENTIRE section behind the house, which I felt was «above and beyond». He also replaced the termite-​damaged wood of the patio cover, and sanded and painted it. The work was done in 2 days. His workers were hardworking, respectful, and they completely cleanup afterwards. I was so impressed! Also, Luis came by on both days to check on the work.
At all times Luis was very professional and his estimate was clear and he stuck to it. I highly recommend Lifetime Custom Painting and will re-​hire when it comes time to paint the house.

I have used Lifetime Custom Painting a couple of times, once 6 yrs ago when I needed the entire outside of my home repainted with some stucco repair and more recently when I needed some interior paint and some additional outside stucco work repaired (I had put in a new bathroom window). Both times they did an excellent job at a reasonable and fair price. The first time, a whole crew came and they were polite, cheerful, and did an excellent job. Most recently for the smaller job, Luis came by during the day to check on how the painters were doing. I wasn’t home at the time, but noticed that he had personally touched up some areas that I had forgotten to tell the painters about earlier. I would definitely recommend them again. Stay away as far as possible. We had a huge prbolem with owner of the company. He came out and gave us a quote. We agreed and signed a contract for work. They took took too long to complete and then after went to do a touch up with his paint cans left at my home and found out he used flat paint though out the whole house, even in the bathrooms. We had signed a contract for satin paint and semi-​gloss. I had to advise of the contract we had signed and woiuld take legal action if it was’nt corrected to our satisfaction in a timely manner. It was corrected only under that pressure. I hope he learned a big lesson and sticks to the contract from now on.
