Place is not the same with out Ken, yes the price is still 8 dlls, but if you go in the morning, the lady is always on her phone or talking to some one else. Last time there she was cussing and going off to a friend of hers over a personal matter. I’ve felt very uncomfortable with her in the past even after learning that the place had been sold and I had decided to give it another chance after all she’s cut my hair numerous times. She does good work the problem is what she does and how she portraits herself while doing her job. She makes me feel uncomfortable that never happened with Ken or the 2 other gentleman he used to have in years past. ‘Till this date I am not sure who the owner is or who works in the afternoon for that matter. The other thing the NEW owner doesn’t even know what year the place was established. He put up a vinyl sign that has a year of Est. In either ’99 or ’09, the problem is that that place has been there since the ‘80s after Ken purchased it and moved in from a different location. Sadly it’s no the the same neighborhood barbershop and it won’t be under the new management ideas.

Great and fast barber!!! After virianas beauty salon failed me 2 days in a row (had a sign that said «be back after 4) I decided to look for another. Ken is the barber at the location and he is fast and friendly. I will definitely be coming here as my main barber

This place is great. One of the only original barber shops left in San Diego. Ken is the owner and gives the best fade I have seen in San Diego. They also don’t rob you with $ 15.00 hair cuts. They are very humble have years in experience and are easy to have a conversation with. Once you go you will never leave. I have gone there for 20 years now and have never left.

Three-​chair barber shop been in business for 25 years. Friendly atmosphere and decent cut at $ 8 keeps them competitive. I went there on a Sunday after most other shops were closed and had Gus cut me. I would like to go back and try the other barbers to get a full range of the talent.
By the looks of this place you’d think they offered a straight edge around neck and ear, maybe some shaving cream, but to my dismay they do not. Still, they’re worth checking out.
