Always a line but it moves quickly. Fresh ingredients, clean, and delicious. Ask for a punch card and they offer military discount.

This is a review not of the store nor the staff, but of the Hot Stone I ordered. Specifically, their «Chocolate Lava Meltdown». All I can say is that it was a «Chocolate Lava Letdown». The set up looked really good on their poster but when it was served, it did not look anything like it.
It was served on a clear plastic to go container which was fine by me but the content looked like they bought the brownie from WalMart and cut into squares and then warmed. Then, they put two scoops of vanilla ice cream on the side and poured whipped cream on top and showered some chocolate shavings and syrup. It was bland and looked like it was home-​made. It tried to look like lava cake but it was just really generic ingredients put together side by side and not one on top of the other like on their poster.
I’m wondering as I am typing this review, could it be that the person who ordered for me requested it for «to go» hence, the to-​go container? If it was ordered «for here», then would it have been served just like what was on the poster, one ingredient on top of the other and on a plate?
I’ll stick to their regular and signature flavors. At least, I get exactly what I see.

Always long lines! They make the ice cream mixed and they don’t tend to melt as soon as you get them! I took off one star for the wait time, but other than that good service!

I love Coldstone ice cream. I think it’s fabulous. Their cheesecake is rich and delicious! I love that they now offer Snickerdoodle pieces. Amazing.
BUT.
This Coldstone is SO slow. It’s painful sometimes. Maybe it’s just the nature of the product, I don’t know, but even with only 2 people ahead of you, you’re waiting at least 20 minutes.
Another thing is this Coldstone is incredibly hot and stuffy. I think their freezers give off a lot of heat at the bottom or something. It makes it miserable standing in there, let alone eating in there. And they’ve always got the door wide open so the AC goes right outside.
There are like 3 or 4 tables, which really isn’t enough. Some outdoor seating would be nice. We usually go eat outside in front of the Bank of America. awkward.
There are no restrooms.

Please buy two more blenders. It was bad enough we had the slowest guy on the planet helping us (7÷26÷15 at 8:00 p.m.) only to make the process more by the lack of sufficient blenders in the store. The three young ladies in there were doing an exceptional job moving people through the line, as it was very busy. My hats off to them for doing a great job. The one guy in there making the smoothies and shakes, not so much.

I went to the cold stone in Eastlake otay lakes road and ordered a strawberry funnel cake and a large Savory strawberry shake which took 10 min to make!!! 6 customers behind me paid for their orders!!! The employee, Connor should have told me funnel cakes will take a while longer to make!!! POOR Customer service! I am going back to Baskin Robbins.

I’ve been officially bamboozled by this place. Their pricing for signature creations is a bit outrageous; $ 5.59 as opposed to $ 3.59 if I ordered by telling the server the flavor ice cream & mix-​ins myself. I thought I was doing them a favor by ordering something that they were familiar with. Of course, Connor didn’t point out the absurd price difference until it was time to pay. I could have refused, but I’ll just took it as a lesson learned. He even admitted that their pricing is misleading. To top things off, they had trouble locating the cake that I was picking up for my brother even though I gave him the name, phone number, and order number.

I absolutely love love love this place! There are several amazing flavors to choose from and tons of different desserts available. I really love the way they mix their flavors in front of you! The ice cream is exceptional.

Conner is awesome!
Every time I go in there he’s singing like he’s having the BEST time and he has a smile on his face. It’s so great to go somewhere when it’s obvious the employees are happy and having a good time– it makes me have a good time too!
Conner always makes my Go Fudge shake absolutely perfect and he never forgets to drizzle fudge down inside the cup so it’s nice and pretty.
Good job, Conner. You deserve a raise.

Came here the other night after dinner… The employees were great, super friendly…
A good amount of ice cream and add ins to choose from… My husband just wanted plain french vanilla in a cone… Unfortunately, he said it didn’t have much flavor. My kids had ice cream with sprinkles, they were happy…

My friend and I walked into the store to find ourselves at the front of a 9 person line. Poor store design in my opinion, and awkward squeezing between the tables and the line of people. The small store got crowded quickly and the line continued to grow behind us. There was only 2 employees working, which is not adequate for a a busy hot Sunday.
It took 15 minutes to get to the front of the line. The service was average, she wasn’t friendly, but she wasn’t rude either. I was charged $ 10.56 for to small cups of ice cream. The ice cream was average, a little over priced for average.
A 15 minute wait for 10 bucks on average ice cream is why I rated it the way I did.

Terrible service!!! There were only 4 employees working and they couldn’t seem to get anything done. I ended up waiting in a line of 8 people for 25 minutes!!! I don’t even think they knew what they were doing.

Great job Edwin! Outstanding customer service and helfup to the rest of the staff. You made our order perfect. We will be back!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OVER THE TOP! Well it’s just one employee, the Mexican guy with the piercing in his nose who is super patient and accommodating. My sister thought she was the manager.
I bought the creation with cheesecake ice cream, graham cracker crust, strawberries and blueberries and it’s BOMB.COM.GIMMEMORE

Bad customer service! I Came in today to buy some of the ice cream cupcakes and I went to the front to pay (since there was a sign that states to go to the cashier instead of waiting in line to pay). I waited patiently since there was a line ordering but as I stood there neither of the 2 workers even acknowledged me. One of them was even in the back closest to the cash register and didn’t once look up at me to at least even say «we’ll be right with you.»
I waited another 10 minutes and still no acknowledgement so I left.

I am disgusted with the experience we had here. Upon entering the store, we, and two other women, were flat out ignored for at least five minutes. Alejandro was the saving grace in this store and the only reason why we didn’t leave. He was assisting two other groups at the time while the three other girls pretended we didn’t exist. He washed his hands between each transaction, and was gracious while being obviously overwhelmed helping us and a growing line.
One girl allowed a friend to cut in front of us and left us waiting to pay at the counter while they went off and chatted. Another girl played with her face and hair before going back to making a sundae and was brusque with my friend during his order. The third simply vanished after filling up ice cream bins. By the time we left, perhaps 10 people were in line and there was absolutely no improvement in customer service, other than Alejandro’s excellent example. He was the only employee who was making a determined effort to provide a good experience to his customers. The others seemed to simply not care.
In addition, the entire store is filthy. The glass over the counter was sticky and splotched. The floor was sticky. There was an odor near the doorway that was indescribable. The employees should not be touching their hair and face while making food, and long hair should be put up rather than allowed to swing against countertops and appliances. One gal wiped drips off the counter with a dirty napkin. It doesn’t take more than a few seconds to wipe down the counter with proper cleanser.
We won’t be going back.

This Cold Stone not only gets it right but sets a standard for other Cold Stones!
Good service, good product, consistency with visits and convenience of location!
Sometimes its busy but there is a reason – if it sucked, there would be no waiting in line!

I would drive here any day for ice cream just for the service everyone is so nice and i was in a hurry so they helped me right away not to mention the ice cream is amazeballs but then again who doesnt love ice cream :) nice kids a lil pricey but ill pay the price if the service is right! they didnt sing when i put a tip :(

Ice cream was bomb and service was great =)
*One thing I’ve always wondered though, is if they really do sing when u put a cash tip on the jar… hahaa but I didn’t have cash :(
