Solid bagel sandwiches in a restaurant chain style store. It was packed at 7 AM in suburbia but the line went quickly and the employees were all smiling and friendly.
Nothing amazing but solid food.

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Will never go to this location again. Where to begin: line out the door, long wait, terrible service (ordered three things received wrong bagels) when I brought it to their attention they took bag from me through away wrong bagel without saying a word; replaced with correct bagel (waste of food). Then, when checking lox bagel which I’ve had served opened face at other locations, it came smashed and wrapped in paper. See picture. Awful experience from start to finish not worth the 20 minutes + it took.

I like Einstein Bagels. There good and fresh. Bagels are best when they are freshly made. Thing with bagels is that regular cream cheese is boring. At this place there is like 10 different flavor a of cream cheese you can get. They call it smear. But the flavors come in containers to go. They usually have about the same available when you order your bagel. Oh and they have about 15 different bagel flavors to choose from as well.

I have to give a great review because these wonderful people get it together w efficiency & good tasting fresh bagels. They calmed my chaotic morning. We asked for our half dozen toasted & sliced. The girl at the counter (sorry wish I caught her name since I’d like to give credit where credit is due) did it w/​o hesitation. It was like business as usual which helped get us on our way.

Just had Einstein cater my GUTS Sales Training Seminar over in Mission Beach area. Fed the whole seminar with Fresh Bagels and Great Coffee for $ 106.00 Great Value, Super nice kids. Helped the wife carry the load to the car. I give them an rare 4 star review even though they forgot my Lox in my last review.

Einstein bros bagels can be a bit pricey but their bagels are just so good I can’t resist. They have pretty good coffee. The service at this location is on point. I know it may seem like there is a long line but they get that line down quick. On Mondays they have a special 13 bagels for 6 dollars! Ya can’t beat that! Haha well it excludes the gourmet bagels but still a good deal!

The missing stars are solely for the experience and not the food. The food is delicious and why I continuously come back and deal with the less than stellar customer service. I’ve been to this location many many times ever since I was in high school and they still have the same problems. The wait time is ridiculous, I have gotten my food faster at sit down restaurants. Honestly I could probably just go back there and make my sandwich faster. They ALWAYS run out of bagels. I don’t know if it’s because they donate/​throw away what they don’t sell at the end of the day that they decided to just not make enough or what. But it’s ridiculous. It gets really cramped in there too.

This place is terrible. They take no pride in the food they prepare and could use a lesson or two on food handling. I would not go back unless you like to wait for ever to receive food and don’t mind getting sick. If you can’t make a bagel why would minimum wage be raised to $ 15 an hour makes no sense.

So far I have had the French Toast Sandwich. I must say after two visits this is on point! Customer service is great as well, currently my favorite bagel spot.

The overall layout of this establishment is horrible and causes unnecessary lines and congestion. It is a very small place and you have to wait on line at one end and wait on another line to pay then get your coffee by the door. They have very nice outdoor seating which is great. The service is was okay but the main reason I gave three stars is because of the layout and the fact they there are no bathrooms. I don’t understand how a breakfast place can not have bathrooms. I had to pack my stuff up and walk across the street to Jack in the box to use their bathrooms. The bagels are decent for a west coast bagel place ;)

Things have improved since the replacement of the previous manager, who seems to have an «I don’t care» attitude. However, their crazy ordering system needs to change. They have you fight your way to the back register, then craw and wait again in line to pay in the front register, all this while people are trying to see the bagel display. Be prepare to have your order messed up between 1⁄3 to ½ of thw time. Other than that the food is good.

Bagels are always delicious and fresh (fave: toasted spicy nacho bagel w cream cheese. yum yum). A comment to management from a fellow food industry worker: remind those kids you hire that a smile goes a long way, especially when it gets super busy; also a customer placing an order should not be considered a hassle but a welcome experience…

Well the bagel was okay. not worth the insane slow service, but if you want cream cheese. Expect to be ripped off! One of these (refer to picture) is a $ 1.50 and it’s not even enough to cover an entire bagel. So you will likely need two. So pay $ 1.25 for a bagel. But $ 3.00 for enough cream cheese to just cover that ONE bagel!?! Such a rip off. Something more like .50 cents is more justified. But not $ 1.50 for this dinky amount. (And I’m not even a cheap-​o!!)

This place is whack. There was only two employee’s and they looked and acted dead. Not welcoming at all and acted as if we were bugging them just by coming in and ordering two bagels. Our bagels were literally black, extremely toasted and burned. Yet the cheese and spinach was cold. I normally go to the Lake Murray location but this was the closest. If you’re an Einstein lover, drive a further distance and avoid this place.

Ordered: bagel lightly toasted extra topping, coffee cake warmed, and a coke.
What we got: bagel not toasted with no cream cheese, coffee cake not warmed and a hot coke with no ice.
Wtf? This place needs to get it together not to mention the line was out the door and the employee and manager were talking not taking any orders for at least 3mins. Thank goodness I don’t live in San Diego, I am never coming back.

I’ve been here about 5 – 8 times at this location in the mornings between 8 and 9 am and have never experienced a long delay in ordering and receiving my bagels. When there’s a long line, it moves quickly and I’m out fast. This morning I went in at 9 am and there was no line, which was strange but it is a day before Thanksgiving (plus for me lol). As for those who have waited lengthy times, I feel bad and wonder if they were caught in a bad day where there wasn’t enough personnel.
As for the bagels, they are the BOMB! ;) Even my toddler loves them. Baked fresh daily, their cream spreads are delicious, fresh OJ, bagel sandwiches are yum. You won’t go wrong coming here.

Great experience and good food! I went there on Veterans Day and asked if they had a military discount; they were offering a free bagel and small coffee. Before I asked though I had already ordered a bagel sandwich so instead of getting the free bagel, the manager gave me half off my order instead! Very pleasantly surprised!
And the bagel sandwich I had was good too! I ordered the classic egg & bacon on an asiago cheese bagel and it was fresh and delicious! Will definitely go there again for bagels or breakfast sandwiches!

Quick breakfast place if you’re on the go! It gets crowded but they serve you as quickly as possible. The food is yummy and worth it but it can get oily!
Like other Unilocalers said the workers are not the friendliest but I can deal.

Today, I decided to get some breakfast before going to school! I wanted something quick and easy, and decided to check this place out.
I ordered the lox bagel (I believe that’s what it was called), which is a bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, capers, and salmon. It was SO good. Sounds like an odd combination to most, though. I went with the spinach bagel! It was heavenly.
I ate it there, and was sitting by myself. A worker was cleaning up in her down time, then handed me some napkins with a smile. She was lovely. Then, she asked if I wanted a cup of water. So sweet! The rest of my day went really went from then on.
This breakfast spot made me happy!
