Robeks Smoothies

This place is good but it can get busy. The service was nice and the ingredients seem pretty pure and healthy. The price is better than Jamba but it is still kind of expensive. The peanut power is my favorite smoothie!

3^rd time a charm to not go back to this place. Terrible customer service and employees who just give you shit if you use the eat 24 app and order through Unilocal.The owner and employees really need to get their act together on their communication for online ordering. They are running a business, not some lemonade stand. I won’t be coming here again.

Used Unilocal to order a pickup order for my teachers during Teachers Appreciation Week. Placed the order 4 minutes before the store opened as I was leaving my house. 10 minutes later, I arrived and all of my drinks were ready and being kept in the freezer so they didn’t melt. Great, easy transaction.

800Lb Gorrilla– very good protein shake. I got one for me and one for my buddy in the hospital recovering from a wreck!

We had the Seedsational Bowl packed with flaxseed, chiaseed, coconut, granola, bee pollen, honey, bananas and blueberries on top of Acai purée. The flavor was good but the purée was to watery…

So far so good. I’m really loving this place so far… Been there 2 times. The staff have all been really nice and helpful with my inexperience with their menu. Today I tried a green smoothie for the first time and I asked the girl for a recommendation on the best tasting one so I wouldn’t be put off green juice forever and she recommended I add pineapple to the «age buster» to improve flavor. She promised to make it taste good and took in interest in my opinion of it which was really nice of her. I work in hospitality and I know good service when I see it, and it was very much appreciated. It’s on the way to 24hour fitness in Bonita so I will be making it my go-​to smoothie place. A little pricey but not too crazy compared to my local fruit bar or Jamba Juice. Flavor-​wise it’s sweeter than the local fruit bar and less sweet that Jamba Juice so I think it has a good balance. Looking forward to trying out all the smoothies.

Being a fan of acai bowls, I ordered the acai especial bowl and was not impressed by my order and customer service. We were not greeted when we walked in and no smiles or anything by their employees.
I asked what came in the acai bowl and she said its $ 6.79 + tax for a tiny acai bowl with just bananas and granola. I could almost wrap my whole hand around the acai bowl itself and believe me, I have small hands. Usually, at most places that serve acai bowls are a bit cheaper and come with more ingredients such as strawberries, coconut shreds, almonds, and honey all included. Instead, at Robeks they wanted to charge another 60 cents for just honey. No, thank you.
I’ll give them the extra star because the acai blend itself was good however, I’ll take my money somewhere else because their acai bowls are clearly not worth it.

I love this place they are always friendly, fast, and are always willing to add or subtract something to my order to customize it just the way I want it. I usually get the Dr. Robeks and always add apple juice and they they’re happy to do it, unlike other places (Jamba Juice) who make it a big deal to do something similar.

Obsessed with the age buster, tropi-​kale, evergreen, and super greens! Love this place since I’m always on the go!

Really like this place. Much more of a true smoothie place than a Jamba Juice. Reminds me of Smoothie King, which I used the frequent. Service is always friendly, which is refreshing, cause Jamba Juice is hot or miss. Eve smoothie I have tried I really like. They fill the cups to the TOP… take note Jamba. Try the 800 lb gorilla… what a smoothie, delish!

I really try to be healthy sometimes, eat clean & drink lots of water. Occasionally I’ll stop by here for a large drink to replace a meal. Just wish it was closer to $ 5 than $ 7 for this. Large Dairy Free Strawnana Berry is actually $ 6.69. Good stuff though.

Really great quality smoothies. The employees are always nice. They lose a star for price though, I believe it should be cheaper.

I was waiting to order and I noticed the man that was just on cashier went to make the food. without washing his hands and without wearing gloves began touching the produce and putting it into the blender! gross! money is covered in germs and dirt and you’re just touching my fruit and veggies with you bare hands?! I don’t want money filth on or in my food. you get a good handlers permit and all the info gets thrown out the door. how about basic common sense and human decency?
I walked out and I will never return. too much money for a drink made with such carelessness and no thought. I don’t care how nice you are, I like my food handled properly with clean hands or gloves. cmon!

All I have to say is… I like Robeks ALOT more than Jamba Juice. I really do. Plus they are a lot nicer about customizing a drink so it tastes like what I want and not what they think it’s suppose to taste like…

I was really excited to try the Acai Escpecial Bowl. It looked and sounded great and I am a BIG fan of acai bowls in general.
I was a little bummed when I found out that the «fresh juices and smoothies» shop ran out of bananas.
I was offered a replacement fruit, so I decided to go with strawberries. I was SUPER suprised and disappointed when the replacement fruit was FROZEN STRAWERRIES. bleh!
The acai blend was fine. The granola was fine. The frozen strawberries ruined it though :-(

I m gonna say yummy this place rocks its healthy and good yea for me fresh tasty and thick juat like I like it dont like my stuff runny will definitely be back nice girl. Behind counter named Andrea great service beautiful smilw very helpful!

Okay for a Robek’s place, service wasn’t super fast or anything really.

Let me first off say that Robeks provides some great smoothies and juices!
My husband’s favorite is the 800 lb. Gorilla (peanut butter & chocolate, 65g of protein) and my favorite would probably be the ProArobek (banana & raspberry, 25g of protein). Great pick after a good workout!
However, the one major downside would be the cost. Yes, I completely understand that fruit can be expensive, but $ 7.99 for a large chocolate peanut butter smoothie and $ 6.99 for a medium banana raspberry smoothie?! Even if the prices were adjusted by a dollar or two, we would be in more often.
As for the customer service, they’ve been nothing but great the multiple times we’ve been in. Hats off to them!

***TIP 3: If you’re looking for a good acai bowl, go further down H Street to Juice Adventure, they have better acai bowls at a lower cost too.***
Ultimately, I give Robeks a 3 star because of their high costs and how early they close.

Why, hello there Indian man! You must be the owner that just creeped out from the small corner over there, with what appears to be a computer.
At first some smaller statured young man was taking my order, then all of a sudden a big Indian man appeared! Haha no, it wasn’t a magic show, but a quick switch-​a-​roo. I think it was the owner who wanted to ring me up to make sure the small dude (employee) didn’t take the money? Idk
Not your usual experience as if you were at Jamba Juice being served by some young high school student on the verge of puberty. But, hey, both of the gentlemen who helped me today were very nice. Plus, it was nice to see a different menu offering various kinds of smoothies.
Anyway, I ordered an Energizer Acai smoothie and a PassionFruit Cove smoothie today. If you like peaches, try the Cove. If you like a more «skinny» (diet) taste then try the Acai. Wait, what do I mean by «skinny.» Well, according to my hubs, he said that it tasted like it had skim milk or almond milk. Personally, I didn’t know what he was talking about. But, I liked the Energizer Acai better than the Cove.
Definitely a great and HEALTHY treat on a hot summer day! Will be back to try the ACAI BOWL!
