Lori has helped me find the confidence I needed to get through quite a few rough patches. She has helped me gain insight in situations that I don’t think I could have worked through well enough on my own, without her perspective. Lori is a good listener, who is professional and caring. My time with her has allowed me to grow into the strongest, healthiest version of me that I can be right now. I am very grateful for her help.

My daughter went to her for a few months for play therapy when she was having issues with aggression and other behaviors. At first we thought she was really nice, but then it became apparent that she is completely clueless. She has her degree from Columbia but could not come up with a diagnosis. She also recommended my husband & I take a restraining course for when our 9 year old was not cooperating & that we lock her in her room. We really needed professional advice & seeing her was a complete waste of time. Not to mention whenever something came up with one of her kids she would cancel our appt.
DO NOT see her! She is a total flake that only cares about making a buck not making a difference!

So time isn’t wasted… if you don’t have a credit card she won’t treat you; even if you have insurance.
Aside from that, I only made one apt. and before I even saw her she texted me 45 min before the apt to say she was sorry but she was running 15 minutes late, see you at 10:30. There was no «is that ok» it seemed as if she just assumed I was sitting around with nothing else better to do. Very impersonal.
When she arrived after me (I was only 3 min early and standing in hall as the door was locked) she stated «did you get my text» all I said was yes… not sure what the issue was there… then she stated that her morning has been very hectic already etc.
I am sorry but I am not there to learn that her day is hectic, I am there to get a handle on MY extremely hectic life…
I left stating no worries I will find another therapist I’m just not comfortable giving over a credit card, when I know my insurance will cover this. I had to insist that it really was no big deal and that I wanted to leave… so upon leaving she said «Good luck» … Me thinks she lacks people skills.
