I’m having dinner and sat down. Noticed many tables not bussed. When the food came I was told we are out of regular silverware! What?! Then I started reading some reviews and must agree that as of late, something changed at this location and I wish it was for the better. I also recall about a month ago…7:30am…on a weekend., out of coffee. I like this location, hope management pays attention.

Only good thing I can say about this PANERA location is… At least the hazelnut coffee tastes good… When it’s available! Because it’s the only location in the Eastlake area, I have frequented this location at least 2 times a week and unfortunately, the experiences have only gotten worse. Management is horrible and could care less about the food they are putting out and the service they are providing. The staff is also careless about pretty much anything that has to do with their job and more into their own gossip. Coffee is always empty and takes at least 10 minutes to bring out a new pot. At least it’s fresh right? Yes, but wouldn’t you have one of the 25 employees working to check coffee levels on a constant basis to make sure they don’t run out… Especially during a busy rush? The soufflé are constantly burned. Not just burned, charred overcooked curdled egg GARBAGE!!! It’s not like dining at PANERA is cheap either. I believe you get what you pay for… But when you pay for bad service and poor quality of food… It’s all bad!

Dead flies in my sandwich. They forgot two of my items in my to-go bag. No dressing on my salad. What a wonderful experience.

Great option to order food online and was ready before the pickup time. Ordered a pick with a tuna sandwich which was great. The side Caesar salad was kind of brown and didn’t pass my taste test. But other than that ok place.

I haven’t been here for 4 years. We came here today and was promptly reminded why. Girlfriend had the soup, which was cold. On a side note, they do have a microwave under the coffee station, which I suppose you could use to heat up your cold soup. Maybe it’s there solely because they serve so much cold soup. Grilled cheese looked and tasted like it was microwaved, probably in the aforementioned microwave, with only half a slice of cheese. 7 bucks for that sorry excuse of a sandwich. Probably 1 dollar for every minute it spent in the microwave, which created the inedible rock that sat on the plate before us. The highlight of the meal was our green passion smoothie. We ordered two so that’s 1 star each.

Came here tonite ordered 2 of the Thai wonton broth soups, ½ sandwich and cup of French onion soup… Everything tastes good and customer service was great, but when I got home and opened my wonton soups that I paid $ 9.49 + tax EACH for, I was disappointed that the soups were both less than ½ full. For that price I expect the full bowl …

The food is delicious here. It’s my go to when I’m at the mall. Nice and quiet place to meet with people(unless school just got out in which case there’s lots of teenagers, but not too bad) the service is good. I’m only not happy with the fact that they took out the soba noodle broth. But otherwise the food is nice and a healthier alternative to fast food.

Loving the customer service! This was my first time here and the food is actually really good, but I didn’t like the chicken pasta I had, but the workers were really nice and replaced it with a salad that I asked for. The area is nice and quiet, really spacious and clean. Definitely coming back!(:

If I can rate this place negative I will. The service is poor and to top it off the management is even worse. We waited for our order for 30 min just for soup and salad. We called server to follow up and was told our order wasn’t in the kitchen. Waited another 10 min we were told they are making our order manager came back saying we didn’t he four order be we didn’t pay and told them that’s impossible bec we got the receipt this time they told us we will get our meal prepared which will take another wait time. I would have thought that after they all figured what was wrong they would have figured it out and gave us our meal. We can pay what amount it was. My husband swiped the card and the receipt printed assuming our charge went thru. Now I wasted my lunch time waiting for nothing. You guys had to get your act together. Whatever happened to accuracy matters totally not fixed ! Walked out with a bad taste In my mouth and the manager did not even offer to fix things. This is the Worse customer service Ever. This probably would not happen if the manager knows how to appease an unhappy customer. Seriously ridiculous. Unsat!

Love the food but its been a several times when we’ve arrive about two-three hours before closing during the week and weekend and they’ve ran out of almost everything! My friend, a nice of hers, my husband and I went yesterday. I had ordered a «pick two» an italian sandwich toasted and the lady told me the had ran out of the bread it comes with and that they only had two options to choose from which i had to settle. When i chose one of the two she did mentioned it would be a smaller sandwhich because of the kind of bread. I also wanted a soup in the bread bowl and she also said they ran out of it too(the bread bowl). I had to settle for the regular cup of soup. Then she asked me what would i like for my side item, ships, cookie, or bread, and i sarcastically asked her if they even had the bread for the side, she laughed and said yes(i guess is not their problem if they don’t have enough food supply). My friend had also order a pick two with a bread as a side and they had told her in advanced that the had enough. When we received our orders my sandwhich was not toasted as i had told her and when the server brought my friend her order she said she brought her another kind of bread because they ran out of the one she ordered. And last my friend’s nice was almost done with her soup when she finds a small piece of hair at the bottom of her cup. Luckly she is not the kind of person that gets grossed out and she just stopped eating her soup. I just received a called from them when i was writing this review and the lady explained to me what their process is. That they only have so many breads to bake a day i expressed to her that they need to improve in that specially when there is just a couple of Paneras around our area specially when they have so many costumers. She did express that that is something they are working on and that they really pay attention to this sites of reviews. I told her i had read several reviews with the same issue.

Absolute favorite items that I ALWAYS seem to choose: –Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich –Steak and White Cheddar Panini –Chicken Noodle Soup –Creamy Tomato Soup(I’m drooling…) –Kale Caesar Salad –Panera Kettle Chips –Iced Green Tea –Chocolate chip cookie — OMG! THEIRSIGNATUREMACANDCHEESE! AHHHH! My heart is fluttering just thinking about the deliciousness of the items I just listed! LOL of course there are more items but these are my special recommendations, because these items are guilty of making me crave this phenomenon called«Panera». Did you know that in the Los Angeles Panera locations, you can order online from your table(especially if at first you just got a coffee but then hours have gone by and now you’re hungry for food?!) Well, don’t get all excited though, because that doesn’t happen here haha! Yup, you just get the basics here: you order at the counter; if you dine in, then they give you a number card clipped to a stand so you can take it to your table, and then they’ll deliver your food to where you’re at! Now, if you’ve ordered at the counter and need to take it to-go, you’ll make your way to the pick-up around towards the back where the soda fountains are and they’ll call your name. OOOHHHHBUT if you ordered ahead and just need to pick-up, head straight towards the back as well and look for a bookshelf with Panera bags of pre-ordered food! Find your name and you’re on your way, you busy body you! :D Happy eating! GOFORTHEMACANDCHEESE! MACANDCHEESE! XD

My mom and I were hungry and wanted something quick to eat because of an appointment we had. We came in ordered the soup and ½ sandwich combo or whatever they call it. I remember the guy taking our order asked me that if they didn’t have sourdough bread for the sandwich what would be my second option of bread. I said ciabatta. The restaurant didn’t apear to be that busy. We noticed an unusually long time for getting our food and also noticed that other people that ordered after us got their food first. After a while our order came but only the soup. The lady said that they were out of sourdough and what would our second choice of bread be. I told her that we had already told the guy the took our order that ciabatta would be fine. It was taking a long time for the ½ sandwich while our soup was getting cold and time was running out for our appointment so I decided to just ask for a refund. The manager apologized and refunded me the money. It had been a long time since I was at Panera last and I remember good food and good service. I guess they now have good food and not good service. I hope they improve Might come back. Not sure

Placed an order via phone for«RAPID pick up», I get there to pick up at the specified time and 2 out of my 3 items were missing. One girl bring me my other item and I’m still waiting for my coffee(caramel latte). it takes them another 10 minutes to have it ready, they made the coffee wrong so they had to remake it. Total time of 25 minutes from when I placed the order, 15 minutes later than the time they said it would be ready… I get to work, haven’t had a sip of my coffee and realize cup is about ¾ full!!! ?? WTH!!!

Great service. Serve yourself refills of coffee for free. Today tried the pick 2 with potatoe soup and ham and Swiss sandwich. The soup was okay. A little bland for my taste. My favorite continues to be Stuart Anderson baked potato soup. It’s creamier and is topped with cheddar cheese. The ham sandwich was tasty and my husband liked the Italian combo sandwich and he really liked it. We love coming here for a quality meal and feeling welcome to stay as long as we like. Great service.

Ok ok I’ll admit it it’s real good in here. My girl has try to bring me here before because she loves it but I refused. I refused because I thought this place was for ladies or old people, hippies or nerds only because there food selection look too healthy & light for me & looks like a quiet library inside. I told her I’m a Mexican/Irish man I want real food with real meat like steak or burgers or Mariscos! Well I was wrong because the food here is filling & real good! Sorry Panera for doubting you! First the customer service was real good & friendly the girl taking our order was real nice & helpful in helping us what to order because I was lost since I was new to this place. The food was brought to us in a short time & the guy kept checking on us & was on his game. And it’s good to be able to see the cook make you’re food. If you want you can watch them make it, there area is in the open for us to watch. If you’re a Vegetarian you’ll love this place. Also the place was & stayed clean while I was there. Now for the food. Well I had the Frontega Chicken Panini & it was great! The chicken was cooked well & was very juicy & the whole sandwich tasted great & I dipped it in my Tomato soup which was on point. My girl had the Turkey Apple Cheddar cranberry sandwich & we both liked it, I had too help her finish it cuz it was too big for her. If you want a good cold sandwich that’s the one to go for. Also had the Cheese & Broccoli soup & it was ok I dipped my chips in it so the chips gave it more flavor. I plan to try there Clam Chowder next time & some other Sandwiches like the Avocado BLT. The sandwiches here are done & prepared real good. Yes it’s a bit expensive but hey it’s worth it & they might not have a very big selection of big sandwhices but what they do have is pretty good it’s way better then Subway & more healthier. It was in the news that Panera’s meats/chicken are one of the healthiest in the country because the meats/chicken they use are not pumped with fake stuff. That’s good to hear. So yes call me Old, soft, a hippy or even a Nerd it don’t matter because I will come back & eat here & enjoy it. I can’t wait to come back & try more sandwhices. Shoot I might even wear a Star Wars shirt & wear my glasses & bring a laptop next time I come here to eat so then I can fit in :)

Went here the other day… Dropping my rating down bc it seems like the quality of their food preparation has gone down some… The quality of their food is still good… But it was as if some of our order was prepared haphazardly. My friend ordered a chicken salad sandwich, and their was hardly any chicken salad in it. Not much veggies either. I felt bad for her, it was as if she was just eating plain slices of bread. My other friend ordered a sandwich that indicated Apple… She had to search her the apple, which ended up being tiny chopped pcs. A whole lot of veggies were thrown on, some looked like coleslaw… We also tried their m&m cookie that tasted and looked as if it should have been baked just a minute or so longer. I love me some chewy cookies. But it was on the verge of doughy. This is a fairly expensive sandwich shop, I would hope for more quality and pride in what they produce… I’m still a fan of there baked goods/pastries tho. Its my weakness!

Huge fan of Panera Bread and was shocked at how terrible this one was. I am their biggest fan of the Mango Iced Tea so I stopped in to pick up a drink. The mango iced tea is simply the best and I love it. However, this particular store: — dirtiest Panera I’ve ever seen and probably dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever seen. There was trash, garbage, food debris all over the floors both in the dining areas and the food preparation areas. Since I was only ordering a drink I went ahead but if I was getting food, I would have left — poor customer service; there was ONE person working the counter and it was 6pm on a weeknight. I saw what looked like the manager and everyone else seemed to be in hiding and didn’t want to come out and help at the counter despite people in front of me in line and people behind me. — tried to pay with Apple Pay and of course they tell me it isn’t working or at least not on the register I was at… If you know it doesn’t work then get it fixed — again, it was remarkable how dirty this place was. As I went to get my drinks, I noticed several tables with no one sitting at them but left over plates and trays from when someone was eating. Simply disgusting place For the sole person working the counter that evening, she should be commended, but whomever is managing the store… that person is doing a horrible job and it shows.

Came here recently and ordered the frontega chicken panini w/French onion soup; bread on the side. The panini was awesome and had chipotle mayo, basil, and tomato. I was pleased with my meal. My friend ordered the smokehouse turkey and was kind of disappointed that it was just Turkey deli slices with bacon and cheddar. Not the healthiest thing on the menu. In lieu of this, I wish the menu was more descriptive but I know it’s a franchise so I’m not sure if they can do something about that. The cashier wasn’t really sure what was in some sandwiches upon ordering. That being said, the service was accommodating in a trying-too-hard type of way. Not that that’s a bad thing but sometimes I prefer the straightforward approach(ie: if you don’t know what’s in something don’t pretend you do). He told my friend a sandwich had cilantro in it when he really meant basil but my friend was turned off and ordered something else which he found disappointing. Location is OK but for some reason I don’t get service in here! The wifi wasn’t budging either. I think I’ll stick with my local Panera. Love their pastries as well!

Mal servicio.

I love Panera. They have great soups, salads, pastries, and new pastas! Since this location is only a few minutes away from my house I have been coming here since it opened. I have tried just about every item on the menu have always been gladly surprised at the level of consistency every time I order food. The only problem that I have at this location is the cleanliness. I’m not sure if it’s the people training or if people just aren’t good at their jobs but I have always noticed that they are slow to pick up dirty dishes and wipe down tables. Last month I was very shocked when I was eating there and I noticed the person busing tables just moved all of the plates from multiple tables to one and left it there for the 45 minutes that I was sitting there working. Other than that I definitely recommend coming here. And I definitely recommend ordering online if you don’t want to eat inside.

Angela my server today was being a b*tch. Many of the workers seemed hating to be there. Angela was looking for shortcuts by putting my toppings of my croissant next to the plate, instead of usually slicing it open and building it. Not very generous as well with the toppings. Even after I requested an extra slice of tomato, She gave me an attitude by commenting it’s going to be an additional charge. I came in to get my free pastry which was not available due to the error in their system. Is that my problem, or their problem? She was more acting like it was mine, but I was making sure to get my pastry. Finally, after a long avoidance by helping other customers, she came over and throwed a cherry glazed pastry in a paper bag instead of a usual pastry box. Again, this is another shortcut of her by putting minimum effort in to her job. Oh and coffee, they put refreshed tags but I found out they ran empty after being refilled 5 minutes ago? There was some cheating going on right their. Corporate needs to get on them an correct this location, because there is nothing wrong with Panera’s concept and food.
