After having a bad experience with a major HOME Improvement store, I stopped at Southbay Carpet Distributors. Wow, what a night and day difference from the Home Improvement store. The customer service I received was fantastic. They came to measure my carpet the next day, called me with a confirmed quote the following day, and allowed me to select my installation date. The installer showed up at 9:00 on the dot and did a beautiful installation. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and will call them for my next installation. 5 stars for customer service!

Good prices and selection. Good installation. I confirmed a certain day to have it installed, but the customer service person scheduled it on the wrong day when he went back to his desk to write it down after we left. He rectified the situation after I called wondering where the installers were, by getting some installers at the last minute. All turned out well, just a few hours late.
The only thing to beware of is a person named Jose at 619−930−1562, that posts ads on Craigslist to have removal, disposal, new carpet, pad, installation, everything for $ 1.50 a square foot. He sends you to Southbay Carpet to see the samples he’s offering the deal on. When I selected a specific carpet that he had pictured on his ad, he then quoted a higher price. When I calculated the actual cost, according to his ad, he then said he was too busy and was going to pass on the job. Sketchy.

Just picked up last min roll of carpet padding had a little incident with a leaking pipe great customer service. The pricing was better than Home Depot. Let alone the verity of quality padding. They even offered to deliver. Must stop by and check out this place.
