I found Star Auto Care on Unilocal,and decided I would check them out to get my Smog Test done.
The owner and the staff who worked there were very professional and friendly. I felt like they cared about me as a customer, and I passed my smog test!
I would highly recommend this business to anyone, especially if you need to pass a Smog Test.

Great service! Went in for a smog test only and was out in less than 20 minutes. Easy to find, place to sit and relax indoors. Bryant was really helpful.

This place is quick. I was in and out in no time. The gentleman took my paperwork and i waited near by with my little brother and next thing my car was ready. I only had to pay 38dlls out the door with certificate. Will be coming back again. FYI there’s lots of stores in front if you want to walk around while you wait.

Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA
Came here to get a Test Only Smog check and was here late on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get in and out rather quickly without an appointment. Most of the smog only places close by 2:00 PM on Saturday so it was nice to see that they were open until 5:00 on a Saturday. Big plus. Also they only charge $ 50.00 with the certificate for a Test Only place. Other places charge $ 70 to $ 90 for the same. Plus the guys here are really nice. Take your business here. They need your business, that’s why they stay open so late on Saturdays. Next time I need a smog check I’m bringing my car here.

Came here once to get my Honda Civic re-​tested. He charged me $ 30 to get it done and I was scared I’d fail (again) so I inquired about a re-​test. He indicated that if I failed and bring it back within 14 days, then he’ll only charge me $ 13.50! I’m never going anywhere else!
By the way, Canyon Test off Telegraph ripped me off and charged me $ 90 for a (failed) test. He said if I’d bring it in for a re-​test, he’d charge me $ 60. Crazy!
