Tino’s Auto Tech is the place to go for your car care needs. I went to Tino’s after stopping at another shop and being told that they weren’t taking any new work because of the rain and that I should come back tomorrow. Needless to say, tomorrow didn’t work for me. I could tell right away that Tino’s was going to take care of me.
I found Tino’s on Unilocal,read a few good reviews and decided to give them a try. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Tino got me in to assess and diagnose my issue with my ’07 Explorer in less than 5 minutes after arriving. Once he determined what was wrong (what I anticipated) he gave me a quote, ordered the parts and had the work done within 5 minutes of his estimated time (just under 2 hours) for a front wheel bearing, machines rotors and new brake pads. The pricing was great, the work was excellent and the shop was clean and the workers all seemed very professional. I definitely recommend Tino’s to anyone looking for an auto repair in Chula Vista.

Great local shop! Went by today to get my hubs replaced, Tino was awesome took my car right in. I usually go off vibes reason I stopped going to my last mechanic but totally different at Tino’s shop everyone was very nice and looked liked they cared about there work.

Dealer sent me here to fix the issue with my brakes, told me to ask for Tino himself. Told him what was going on and not even a minute later he took me in. Talk about quick service

Tino’s is a nice and honest mechanic. I have been going to him for my 2001 VW Passat. I bought the VW Passat from another owner and Tino was the previous owner’s mechanic. I told Tino the car has been smoking a lot. He told me the previous owner didn’t drive it a lot and I need to keep driving so the oil can burn off. Well, it eventually did and Tino’s recommendation did work. His new shop location is across from Costco, in the back with other car shops. Any other shop with his name has closed.. .the Broadway location is the only shop. He tries to get OEM parts that are cheaper than the dealership but at times he will notify you when he needs to buy from the dealership.
