The Cheesecake Factory

For the past 4 years, valentine’s day at the cheesecake factory has been me and my hubbys tradition.
We came here for Valentine’s dinner tonight around 6:00pm. We found parking pretty fast in the lot and then put our names down. They told us the wait was around 30 minutes so we decided to wait in our car because we have a little 16 month old crazy child. Weeell we ended up waiting for only 13 minutes!!! (HUGE TIP: We took our beeper all the way to our car cause there were no seats left and it still worked!!!)
On to the restauranting part! We walked in, gave them our beeper and we were sat down immediately. Our server was named Chris and he was sooooooooooooo nice!!! What really made me like him was he brought out a small plate of bananas for my daughter when he brought out the bread for us and I didn’t even have to ask him for it!!! I have never experienced such a nice yet simple gesture ever before at any restaurant ever!!! I wish I could rate their customer service because it was impeccable.
Soooo the food!!! We ordered buffalo blast appetizers which were amazinnnng. I ordered the garlic noodles with chicken and my hubby ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and our baby girl wasn’t too hungry after all the bananas, bread and buffalo blasts so we ordered her some french fries and shared our noodles. The food was sooooooooooooo good!!! I love their pastas I have never ever had a bad pasta dish there.
We were soooo stuffed that we had to order our red velvet cheesecake to go. And after all the food we ordered our bill came out to only 63 dollars!!! I can’t wait to go back and enjoy more pasta and cheesecakes :) Definitely my favorite location out of all the others in SD!

This is my go to Resturaunt for a good fast dinner. I love sitting by the bar and service is always great.

Came her for the first time in a long while. Tonight the service was excellent with drinks being refilled regularly and yet not being too intrusive. I say to others that waiting/​stewarding is a skill most anyone can do, but it’s the little things that make service stand out, as was experienced tonight.
Ordered crab bites for starters; they were exactly that bights worth, true as stated in the menu;quality ingredients as best as I can tell. Entrees were good, however my other half’s Carbonara was not as rich as other places, and my Fish and Chips was made of quality ingredients however the portion size was not nearly as large as what I’ve received elsewhere. Dessert was excellent, and super rich. What else would one expect with cheesecake being in the name. So good, that we couldn’t finish because they were overwhelming in their denseness of flavor.
This location feels more laid back than the Fashion Valley location. It makes it more inviting.
Of course the bill was higher than one would het elsewhere, but for the service and the dessert it was well worth the price (this time).

Ordered the shrimp bistro and as I am eating I see a hair in my pasta. I call the manager, he changed my order (obviously), apologized profusely about the incident and gave my mom and I a free cheesecake (which I am thankful for) none the less the hair made my appetite go away, so I ended up eating very little. Didn’t really savor my meal as you can imagine.

As far as local spots go Cheesecake Factory is probably my favorite. They have so many different choices for whatever you crave and at any time of day. Love the dessert here obviously, especially the cheesecake. Nice environment and friendly employees too. My only complaint is sometimes the togo is a bit slow answering to take an order, other than that this spot is golden.

What a great night and OMG we had a waitress that was amazing we chatted with her for a few minutes and it felt like we known her for years we had the Hibachi Steak Wow it was as good and I had the fish and chips not so good a little bit greasy and batter was thicker then the fish, low quality fish but they give you 5 pieces I had hoped for better but the waitress made our night thank you

Normally my experience is fabulous here, but tonight it wasn’t. I went with my family to celebrate my fathers birthday. It started with us trying to order an appetizer but each choice we attempted (3) they were «out of», huh? Yes exactly how does that even happen in a huge restaurant like this. Then when we got our dinner, we got all but one entrée and that was because they burned the grilled chicken, what! Yup that happened. We were all done with our meal by the time they brought the new grilled chicken plate, wow… Server was extremely apologetic and took the entrée off the bill plus gave us a cheesecake slice for free. This experience was unfortunate but I will most likely be back because I do love this place. It was just one of those days I guess…

I contacted Cheesecake Factory after this happened, and they decided not to reply. So now this review is going on Unilocal.
My wife and I went to this Cheesecake Factory for her birthday. Some of the employees were completely crude and unprofessional. One employee was talking to his friend at the table next to us (The one seated at the table was in plain clothe but knew several of the employees) and was talking about a female in the restaurant and how he «wanted to eat that so bad». He was specifically talking about a woman, and not food. Another employee walked by the table, said «F*ck You» to his friend, laughed, and walked off. I was really disappointed Cheesecake Factory. It is pretty bad when IHOP has better trained and more professional employees than you do.
So not only do they have unprofessional employees, they also do not reply back when notified of such incidents.

I love Cheesecake Factory! Great food, service and of course cheesecake :), great place to go on a date!

Been to this place 15 times and never had a problem like tonight… The floor underneath our table was so dirty i felt like leaving… 3 spoons 2 knives and all types of food on the floor… The table is was sticky and the bathroom was also dirty… The food was still good. Hope to never experience this again because i like the food and the atmosphere at this location…

The only thing I could say is yummy, yummy, yummy, it’s been years since the last time I stepped foot in here.

My boyfriend and I came here for date night with another couple. The wait wasn’t so bad considering the time and day of the week (Saturday around 6pm). Our server was wonderful. He came when we needed him and he was very informative with our questions. The food we ordered was great! I don’t know what it is about the steaks here, but they melt in your mouth and are more than worth what you pay for. This place was nice and the portions were good. The restaurant was clean and was a comfortable place to have dinner.

Maaaaalo, malo y caro. Es decir, si te vas tomar cualquier cosa, te vas a cualquier cosa mala y barata que haya cerca de tu casa y ahí termina la cosa. En este sitio te ponen cualquier cosa que te apetezca, y todoodas estas mediocres. El problema es que te cobran como si estuvieras en el Maxim’s de París. La culpa al final, la tiene el americanito medio que no sabe distinguir entre cantidad y calidad. Mejor ir a Tacos and Tarros, que esta a dos pasos y te ponen mejor calidad con menos prepotencia y precios.

My first experience ever at the Cheesecake Factory was pleasant. I enjoy the fact that the portions are pretty decent. It is enough to make you full and have plenty left over for lunch the next day. I guess the good thing about it being in the Eastlake area is parking isn’t too bad and it isn’t as packed as the one in Fashion Valley. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. If your bringing your significant other the lighting really sets the mood haha
I got the Mac n Cheese balls and jambalaya pasta. It was super delicious. The Mac n Cheese balls had the right amount of crisp. The jambalaya pasta was pretty darn good. I was kind of curious how they would pull that off but it had a nice kick to it. Their cookie dough cheesecake was heaven in my mouth! Savory goodness! I think it pretty much summed up my dinner that night. Overall I’d come back for sure. It is a little pricey but the food makes up for it.

We ordered the steak dianne combo with shrimp and one is with chicken madeira which costs like $ 20.99 each. The steak tasted like it was frozen before it was cooked. We asked for the steak to be cooked medium but it came dry, chewy and more well done. Manager asked us for a replacement dinner but it will take too long since we waited long enough already.
Waitress was nice, however, we were disappointed by the quality of food they served us.

The food is pretty good. Pizza was kinda dry :/
We waited for a long time to be seated even though there was plenty of seats ava. Waiter took a long time to bring our drinks… Food omg we where probably there for an hr before we got it. I ordered a burger had no ketchup … I asked for ketchup he brought the ketchup like 20 mins later so i ate a cold burger… And it was raw! Waiter was very rude!!!

I have been to this location twice and in both occasions I had a great experience. I like coming for brunch because their menu is so delicious. This last time I ordered a plate of chilaquiles with carnitas. The green salsa is delicious and is not spicy at all. I also ordered a side of their French toast. They only thing that I would have to comment on the French toast is that I preferred them toasty and crunchy and the ones from cheese cake factory were soft. But that is just my preference. I have to now try them for lunch or dinner since their menu was huge with lots of options to choose from.

We’ve eaten in several Cheesecake Factory restaurants and it is an excellent franchise. Unfortunately the Otay Ranch branch was very disappointing.
It was really quiet when we arrived but we still had to wait for ten minutes for a table and then another 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress Kaitlyn was charming, but the kitchen did not translate her order correctly and the wrong food was delivered. In addition the food was poorly prepared. Very disappointing…
The manager was apologetic and was kind enough to remove some items from the bill which was greatly appreciated. We assume this was an isolated case and that the kitchen was understaffed today.

I do like the food at Cheesecake Factory. Service and wait times aren’t that great. Came on a weekday evening with a party of 12.
Service:
— Our server seemed nice, but since he had our table plus several other tables he would often forget things. There were a few things we had to ask for 2 – 3 times. And during the wait in between appetizer and dinner, he didn’t check on us.
Waiting:
— Once we ordered our entrees, it took over 40 mins for our food to come. Some restaurants give kids their food ahead of time, but not at Cheesecake.
— My aunt doesn’t like spicy food. She had ordered the fish tacos and asked if the salsa/​sauce was spicy. The server said no. When her food came out, for her it was spicy. So we asked them to re-​make it since the sauce/​salsa was on all the tacos. Her food took about 10 mins to re-​make. Some were already done eating. In my opionion, the server should have put it on the side just in case.
Food:
— To start off, we had the calamari. These had a good crisp and was served with two different sauces.
–I ordered the Chicken Picatta. It had been years since the last time I had piccata. The chicken was moist and had the right amount if sauce. The portion was a good amount, so I had enough for lunch the following day.
— I tried the Classic Burger. This too was good.
Overall I would give 3.5 stars.
If the service was better, the food would make up for the long wait times.

You won’t have trouble finding parking, their parking lot is big. I try to avoid Cheesecake Factory during dinner time because it can get really busy. We only waited about 5 minutes during a Thursday afternoon around 2:30 PM. They have lunch specials until 5 PM that consists of «lunch sized» portions which I prefer because their dinner portions are always huge!
Our customer service was great and it was because of our waitress Jocelynn! I always had my water refilled, helped with what to order, and she always gave us bread. It wasn’t fresh until the 3^rd batch of bread she gave us, but it was still good. Who can say no to free bread? Get the whole wheat bread it’s delish! (We had 3 rounds of it)
The food takes a little longer than most restaurants, even though it wasn’t busy at all. It was the only downfall, however the free bread makes up for it. The food I got the skinnylicious grilled turkey burger, it was good and the portion was perfect; not too big not too small. The taste was also good I loved how it had grilled onions and mushrooms. It also comes with a green salad instead of French fries or any other unhealthy side which I loved! The green salad had a nice flavorful dressing and tasted fresh. I didn’t even know about their new Skinnylicious menu until now, thank you Cheesecake! I tried sticking to my diet with their skinnylicious menu however we did order the white chocolate caramel macadamia nut cheesecake for dessert. It was too sweet for me, so I just had a bite. :)

This Cheesecake factory has parking nearby and comfortable seating. I order the fish and chips which were excellent. My father-​in-​law ordered the chilaquiles which were excellent according to him. We had to wait quite a while for our food but it was worth the wait. I ordered the Kahlúa Oreo cheesecake for dessert and it was out of this world.
